We went through all the food, though it took four hours. We found only three packets of food that might be poisoned.
"Well, that was a bust" Purple spat.
"No, it wasn't" Green said, "we cant take it to the lab. I'll do it right now." He scooped up the packets of food.
There were two packets of "waffles" and one of "beef." The only reason they'd be taken out was because the color was slightly off from the rest, but other than that there was no difference.
"We should go home now" Yellow said.
Everyone turned to her.
"I-I mean I t-t-think" she stammered.
"See?" Purple said, "now FOUR people wanna go home. So now let's go home."
"Wait," I said, "first we need to check the motors, thrusters and make sure we have enough energy, then we can take a course for home. It's only three days away."
"Agreed. I'm going to check the motors" Purple said, then turned around and stormed off.
"I'll go check the engine" offered Orange.
"I'll come with you" Yellow said.
Orange and Yellow walked towards the engine.
"Okay, then" I turned towards Green, "wanna come with me to check the thrusters?"
"Sure" he agreed, and we headed to the thrusters.

Everything was in check. The motors, thrusters and engine were working properly. We had all taken precautions, and trying to eat as little as possible. We only ate food we were sure was safe, and even before we all microwaved our food or boiled it.
So far we were heading directly towards Earth, and we were only two and a half day's away. Soon we'd be off the ship.
"Well, this is going great" I said to Yellow, "actually better than expected, and Green says that he's got some cool data about the substance that's he's going to share with us at lunch today."
"Wow" Yellow smiled, "when this first started, I was sure we were going to die, but turns out were not! Soon I'll be back home with my ma and pa!"
I smiled. Sometimes Yellow was like a child.

Fools.
They were all fools.
They had no idea what was coming.
They thought I was an innocent little flower.
They thought I could do nothing wrong.
They thought.
But they were wrong.
I crept down the hall, my knife in hand. I needed to this quietly, so no one would suspect me.
I was at Pink's room, unlocked and just so perfect. It was like the world had done this especially for me.
"How delicious" I hissed. My evil overlord will be most pleased once I report that his plans are already underway, and so soon.
I hadn't even needed that much time to get everyone to trust me, unlike Red who no one would trust to get them a glass of water.
I wanted to murder all these crewmates, but I had to stay calm, collected, cool.
The food poisoning was just the first step, get them worried and distracted on another thing, and then go in for the kill. But sadly that nasty Purple had partly spoiled my fun because now the mission will end early, and I won't get to kill anyone...
Unless... and idea started to form in my head. A wicked smile slithered across my face. I licked my lips. If all went well today, then by the end of the week, all of these fools would be dead.
I chuckled, opening the door to Pink's room. I saw him lying defenseless on his bed, his neck perfectly exposed.
"It's just too easy" I snarled, "and I already know exactly who to frame for this horrible crime."

They were all fools. How could they not see that I could protect them? Sure, I wasn't very emotional, but emotions got you know where.
Didn't they see I was just trying to protect them? Like when I saved Blue from almost snipping her oxygen cord. Or when I stopped Yellow from eating the expired pizza right before the mission started? Didn't they see I cared about them?
I didn't want to admit it, but I cared about all of them, even Orange and Green, who got on my nerves a lot.
I sighed, and then suddenly...
"EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY" the alarms blared. "REPORT TO CENTRAL CAFETERIA. EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY," and then it repeated.
Whoops.
