"You alive?" Cyler poked me awake. "Huh- what, what?" I stirred scrunching my face up with confusion. "Go away" my eyes rolled and I sank back under the covers into my cave. "It's two PM Celia, Reece made me promise him I wouldn't let you be all depressed on your own, cooped up in the stuffy room"

"My room isn't stuffy! And I'm not depressed I'm just... tired- mentally" "yeah I know... but some things are just out of your control come on! We have new seers arriving today and a feast that started... four minutes ago" cyler pulled at my arm. "Fine fine... just because I don't wanna worry reece though" "you promised you would help me with the tours and... oh you said yes"

I nodded my head trying not to laugh at the boy. We together walked down to the canteen where food was already laid out for us. Gloriana was next to Cathleen and her new bestie susie who I wasn't a huge fan off. She was always flexing because she's one of the few seers who wasn't actually abandoned by her parents. "Shall we sit next to glory?" I pointed.

"Cathleens there..." "is it still awkward?" I turned to cyler who nodded quite upset. "I felt terrible because I really like her but I had to say no celia I had to I couldn't date her she's not what I need in a partner" "you need to talk though... what better time?" I pulled him along, he struggled at the start but I was a lot stronger plus everyone started staring.

"Good afternoon sleepy head, finally awake huh" Gloriana smile stuffing her face. "I wasn't sleeping It's complicated okay..." I sat down on the bench. "We know we know... the end is coming" susie mocked me in a way, I eyed her but cyler rubbed my arm to try and calm me down. "Hi.." Cathleen smiled at cyler who'd smiled at her first. "How are you today?" "Yeah.. not bad thank you, what about your self"

"Yeah good" he answered swiftly before jumping into the food. "Spoken to Reece today?" Gloriana asked me just making conversation. "Yeah" "what's he up too?". I noticed susie paying a bit more attention to me now. "Summer is almost over... he's getting ready for collage" "your all going to the same place huh?" Cyler questioned me with half a mouthful.

"Yep, all are group is going to axe-field collage... I'm excited actually even though...Lyra isn't there an-anymore" I stuttered looking at the ground. "What are you going to study?" Coreen asked me. "History, art and sociology" "and Reece?" Cyler wondered. "History, sociology, business and maths" "I can't believe your leaving tomorrow ... this summer has felt normal like the old times it's been so fun, I've missed you" Gloriana put her hand out.

"I know it's felt so normal no plans to beat a supernatural villain, having to share a school instead of having our own home- But axe- field is good it's dangerous but it's good and exciting" "we will have to come visit... stay with you and reece" susie smiled at me like she was planning something. "Your not invited, sorry" I told her straight up, Gloriana gave me a stare and coreen did too. Cyler laughed into his food quietly. "Okay" susie laughed awkwardly and put her hands up "I'll just go stay with my parents then".

"Shut the fuck up about your parents!!" I shouted standing up "Celia sit down" Gloriana hissed but I wasn't in the mood to be told what to do. "All summer all I've heard was you flexing about how you have parents- no one cares!" I rolled my eyes climbing out from the bench and started walking away. "Why shouldn't I talk about my parents, isn't it good I still have them? Are you jealous" susie stood up too. I turned back around trying to keep cool. Was she really testing me?

"Ill tell you what, I will show you what I can do then you tell me if your jealous of my powers" I announced as I walked back over my contacts Melted as my black eyes showed through. Her face went white with fear. "celia". I recognised that voice automatically in the quietness of the room. I suddenly felt calm, stopping in my tracks. "Reece" I announced without turning, Reece stood in the door way. "Somethings happened..." he told me looking seriously quite angry.
