Me and Bailey climbed down the ladder in sync and landed at the bottom this time undisturbed. "Do the honours" Bailey raised a plucked eyebrow at me staring. I took off the necklace of five keys and pulled them off the clasp. I put all five of the keys into the holes and stood back waiting for something to happen.

"Maybe you have to twist them" she blinked at the wall not moving. Chewing my cheek I reached forward trying to turn the first one but it wouldn't move. "I don't want to break it" i gritted my teeth still trying. "It's probably just rusty" Bailey put her hands on the bottom one and it twisted fine. The door made a cranking sound.

We looked at each other before both of us tried a different one. The second key turned when I got hold of it but when Bailey tried the fourth one it didn't budge. Neither did key three. "Now what?" She winced looking around the room for answers. When studying the keys I noticed something on the end of them I didn't see before.

"They are engraved with numbers" I realised pulling the three wrong ones out and putting them into the correct holes. I twisted all three and the doors roared out at us. They then started shaking and me and Bailey took two steps back focusing on what was happing. Slowly on its own the door opened for us to see into the red light.

The amulet floated in the air above a stone pilla in a tiny rectangular room. All that could be heard now was our breathing. It took a second but eventually I walked towards it reaching my hand out to the mesmerising stone. I picked it up from the air by the clasp and the red light shut off yet the amulet still glowed in my hands.

"Your telling me this thing hold her immortality" I rolled my eyes looking back at Bailey. "We should probably go Celia" she reminded me while staring into it. "Don't judge a book by its cover I guess" I sighed and slid it into my back pocket. "Let's scram- we've got a lot of work to do". I walked myself past Bailey and to the ladder pulling myself up.

After we closed the basements up and walked through the hallways we ran into the head again. "Do you- really have it?" Shelby asked subtly, I nodded taking it out my pocket. "It's beautiful" she swallowed watching it sway like a hypnotising clock. "I've seen nicer necklaces" I raised my eyebrows and put it away. "Now what?" "Now we get her interested" i nodded my head beginning to walk off.

"Do you need a- hand?" Shelby exhaled and she looked like she automatically regretted saying it. Me and Bailey looked at each other. "Do you really want to put yourself in danger" I asked her double checking. "No" Shelby half laughed "but I feel obligated- I've hid here and these walls have kept me safe but- this is my battle too" Shelby nodded flashing her yellow eyes. "We best go" Bailey shrugged, liking the idea.

"Clea just texted me- Deidra is outside axels house" I blinked at my phone for a couple of seconds before running to the doors. "Who's Deidra?" She questioned following me to my bike. Me and Bailey got on and Shelby got speedily into her car following us down the road.

From the corner of axels road we saw the end outside with glowing red hands. The ground was shaking and the house was crumbling. "I'll get inside, just you wait" she told them. A shot of light came flying out the window but Deidra washed it away with her hand. It was Clea, defending her family.

"Stop this!" I shouted walking round face to face with her yet again. "Oh Celia I was hoping you'd show! I have a bone to pick with you" she scowled, turning her body towards me her foot stamped on the pavement. Waves of red appeared from the ground trailing up my body. I couldn't get them off. All I could do was fall to the floor and scream.

The end focused on the house again, windows started slowly cracking as they couldn't take anymore. I closed my eyes and screamed again, yes from the pain but a seers scream was very powerful. The red flung off of me and as I gathered myself together I watched Bailey fly over my head her black wings sprouted. I saw the end try to push her hand out but I caught her off guard.
