AnnaLisa's

Dark gloomy skies reflect the storm of emotions that I have brewing inside of me. Today Anthony Kaleb Foster, was going to be buried at the tender age of 80 years. He fought in the army as a medic. He started his highschool basketball team and when he retired from being a doctor he coached his old team.

They won five times straight till his heart started giving him problems and three months later, he has to be buried.

I help my grandmother, get everything ready. The service was beautiful as it wasn't anything big. I knew that Stefano would be here because his dad and my grandparents were old school buddies.

After the funeral.....

"Hey Lisa can I talk to you?" His deep monotone voice whispered smoothly behind me, making the hair on my neck stand and for me to shiver..

"Step...mmfano....Stefano what do you want" I said trying to recover from the moment I had before.

Peering up at the smug smirk he wore, as his jaw tighten while his deep dark eyes roam my body, taking in my curves, like he's studying me, every time I inhale....my subtle gestures.

"I would like to apologize for my actions that day at the office...it wasn't the time...nor the place for such a discussion" He said apologtiectly, his eyes held honesty, regret and shame.

"I do not apologize for hitting you in your jaw....I am,however, regretful for my language and the manner in which I spoke to my boss" I said

"All of that for an 'I'm sorry' from you" he said crossing his arms and he sighed deeply.

"Is he...you know...is he my son?" He finally ask

"Yes he is...please don't be mad, its just the people who we were back then, plus...your...you know what nevermind, just to let you know....he knows who you are and what you look like...well what you did anyways" I explained, his eyes got wide and teary.

"H-How...does he hate me?" He softly asked his shoulders slumped....I walked up to him and I lifted his chin so that he can look at me, his green eyes, where cloudy with the emotions he's trying to hide.

"He found a picture of us a day and asked, and I explained it to him he does understand and no he doesn't hate you, would you like to meet him?" I asked him and his face brightened up.

"Mommy...mooooommmmmmm" Sean calls as he walks into the kitchen as Stefano and myself turn to look at him

"Daddy" Sean shouts as he runs and jumps into Stefano arms. They both start crying and I look at them.

"Hey big guy....its great to finally meet...I'm sorry for not being around all this time" Stefano says

"It wasn't you fault dad...but are you going to stay now daddy?" Sean asked him.

"I plan on it son" He said looking back at me

He did not just give me that look

I thought to myself,

"Why don't you both go out back and spend sometime together" I said knowing that's what he came to find out.

They both nodded as Sean pulled Stefano out to the back. After they left, I broke down, the wave of emotions and today's events got to me.

"Shhh...it's ok babygirl" my grandmother hugs me from the back.

"It was my fault" I cry into her shoulder

"No baby you did what you thought was the best thing for both you and your son...and DON'T let nobody make you think differently" she said

"But..but he missed out on so much, and it was my fault" I said wiping my tears

"No it wasn't I need you to stop blaming yourself, it was those peoples fault, they forced you into it....you didn't have a choice" my grandmother comforts

"Who did what?"the question shocked us both as we turned and saw Stefano with a sleeping Sean in his arms

"Nothing, here let me take him"I said reaching for him and he stepped back

"Please, I'll take him just tell me where he sleeps" he said with pleading eyes

"In my old room, you remember where it is right?" I asked him and he gave me a slight nod of understanding and left.

"I'm not going to tell you what to do, but baby that young man, loves you and I suggest before you lose him, you better tell him the WHOLE truth" she says before leaving me once again to my thoughts.

Few Days Later.....

It's been about three days since the funeral, Stefano and Sean have been spending time together he even slept on the same room with him, Sean made him read him a story and I guess he just fell asleep.

So I ended up sleeping with my grandmother. I didn't object because I knew that this was needed.
