Chapter 2 - Celebration

I have just met two friends already: Jade and Kyle. Their very nice to me, fortunately they agree on how horrible Joe is.

I was just sitting at a table at lunch, watching some cheerleaders walking by, smiling. My old school was never like this. Everyone here is very caring, I love it.

Jade approached the table, very quickly. She quickly say down, trying to catch her breath.

"I have a very important question" She rushed out. I blinked.

"Yes"

"Have you earned your wings" Oh

Wings are just a symbol that you have earned your Angel status. I was told yesterday I was getting them today. I don't know when though.

"I was supposed to have gotten them today, no news about them yet" I started playing with my hair. Was it bad that i haven't received them yet?

Jade had a expressionless face. Her lips curved into a grin.

"YAY" She screamed. I jumped

"Really, have you earned them yet"

"I was supposed to get them today too! But I never got them yet. No worries though. They were sure I earned them" I nodded. This girl is very energetic.

"Thats cool"

"We should celebrate, theres a great disco downtown. Its new. We should go" Jade suggested. I sighed. I wasn't a very social person, like I mentioned before, but Jades my new friend, I can't let her down, plus I could meet new friends. After a few seconds I nodded,

"Sure, why not"

She grinned and said she would be right back. She rushed off leaving me wondering, what did I just agree too?

"ARE YOU READY YET CLARA" Jade shouted.

Its not my fault I take ages to get ready, I didn't know what to wear so I threw on a black dress. I slipped on some white converse and quickly applied some make up. It was almost 8:30. Jade wanted to be there early so we could get in.

"Almost just have to style my hair then I'm ready". I heard Jade rushing upstairs and coming into my room. She inspected my hair.

"Your hair is fine. Why are you wearing that dress" Oh I forgot, Its a dark black, something a Demon would wear. I sighed.

"I have nothing else"

"Heres my white one. You can't wear that to Angel disco"

I silently slipped it on, adjusting my hair, shaking my head a bit.

"Now?" Jade nodded.

"Thats Jade approved" I scoffed. But I ended up laughing at her statement.

"Lets go"

I grabbed my coat, saying a quick goodbye to my Mum. My Dad was working in his office, I was never supposed to disturb him.

"Bye Hon" She replied merrily. She was baking some cupcakes, something she often did to practice new food for the bakery. I always tested them for her.

Kyle was outside waiting by his car. Once he saw us he straightened up and opened up the doors for us.

"Ready ladies"

We nodded and hopped into the car. This is gonna be an interesting night.
