Scared Girl

March 1st, 2004

It's been a few weeks since i've met some of the Toman members.

After school, I would now walk home with Emma Sano since after meeting each other we realized we went to the same school and lived pretty close to each other. Some days she would go over to my house or I would go over to hers. To be honest, I much preferred going to hers. Not only is it more interesting than my home, but I get to hang out with Mikey.

By then, after only knowing each other for a few weeks we got so close. It was like a regular schedule. First walk home with Emma. Second, try and do our homework without being interrupted by Mikey, Baji or Draken. Third, hang out with everyone and just have fun.

Those were the best memories I have of everyone.

Soon after, Mikey started inviting me to go to some of Toman's meetings. Not going to lie, I was hesitant at first. I didn't really know why he would invite me, but I would never miss one.

April 3rd, 2004

This time, Mikey and Emma where at my house.
"Y/N, You coming to tonight's meeting!?" Mikey shouted all the way outside as they leave my house.
"Wouldn't miss it!" I shout back with my window open smiling.

And I followed my word, I was heading to one of Toman's meeting riding my bike. In my bikes basket, I had Mikey's Toman jacket. He left it at my house and must of forgot it so I brought it with me to give it back. How could he leave it though?

But suddenly-

"GHAH!" I scream out as I fly off my bike landing in some dirt off the road.

"Woah!" "Are you good miss?!" Two voices question towering over me.

I look up still on the ground and see two guys staring at me. One of them had black hair in a deathhawk style. Other one had middle parted sunflower blonde hair with a burn mark on his eye..

The blonde guy reaches his hand out to help me up.
"Yeah I'm fine.. I think I accidentally ran over a rock." I say embarrassed..

"Yeah, you ran over this." The guy with black hair says picking up a rock.

I soon notice the jacket fell out of the basket.
"Oh here.." The blonde guy says picking the jacket up for me.

"Ah! Thank you!" I say grabbing it back..

The guy with black hair must have noticed the sign on it because soon after he wanted to get away from me immediately.

"Let's go, Inui." He says turning his shoulder away from me.

"Oh well thank you for your help!" I yell out as they walk away.. "That was hella weird.." I mumble to myself.

Soon, I finally arrived..

Some time passes by and I finally get to talk to Mikey. "Mikey you left your jacket, here." I say handing it towards him.

"Oh thank you."
He stays silent for a second..
"You didn't happen to run into anyone on your way here huh?" He questions me.

"Huh? Why do you ask? I mean I did run into two guys-"

"Seishu Inui and Hajime Kokonoi. Those are the guys you ran into." He cuts me off in a serious tone.
"Huh? How do you know that?" I demand him.

"That's noting for you to know.. Stay away from them, you don't belong with them." He tells me still in his serious tone.

I don't respond to what he says, how does he know about the guys I met?

Mikey soon walks away, "Thanks for my jacket back."

I didn't realize it back then, but Mikey was just trying to protect something.

I understand why he didn't want me to be around people like them, he was scared. I want to imagine he was scared of me getting hurt or worse. But then another part of me wants to imagine he was just scared of loosing power. The Mikey I knew back then would definitely be scared of me getting hurt.. But the Mikey I hear of now?

Power.

I always knew that, but I never wanted to accept it.
I wanted to hope that there was some good in Mikey, but now I know there isn't...

(You later on told Takemichi about the situation with Mikey and now only him and Chifuyu know.)

Today me and Hina were shopping at the mall for furniture for my new apartment. After everything, i'm still a bit nervous to be out in public and I think she is catching onto that..

"Y/N, everything okay?" Hina asks me

"Oh, yeah I'm fine!" I reply to her forcing a smile.

"No.. something is definitely wrong-"

"Just drop it Hina." I cut her off with a firm voice walking away from her into a new store. I could tell that hurt her feelings but I can't explain it to her.. I don't want her involved.

Truth was, when the time comes I had no idea what I was going to do.
