"You serious broski?" Fresh asked in surprise, looking at the skeleton in front of him. "You fool! Don't you remember?! He betrayed us!" "But have you seen how he looked, X?" The monochrome skeleton hissed softly, a look of betrayal flashing across X's face. "Just... Please... I... I need to know the truth... The... The full truth. You and I both know there's something more to it. And we're literally just repeating history by being the ones who's hating on Fate without even knowing if he had any reason!" Cross frowned softly and X stared at his skele friend and brother before sighing. "Fine. But if he backstabs you, don't say I didn't warn you!" X grumbled, ugh! He couldn't stand Cross' sad look! ... Plus, Cross had a point really... They wouldn't be better than the council without finding out the whole truth. Cross then smiled a bit before turning back to Fresh. "Yes, I'm serious... And X is willing to give it a try too
." "Awesome!" Fresh cheered before grabbing Cross' hand and then dragging him into Outertale and then got his phone and texted Ink.
"Freshyyyy!" Ink cheered excitedly while Cross and X blinked in surprise. "Ink?" "Oooh! So it's Cross!" Ink then grinned happily. "You want to talk to Nipa?" "N-Nipa?" Cross got even more confused. "Basically broski, since ya all up n' know of Ink bein' Fate's radical son, Ink calls ya red dawg a Nipa!" Fresh explained in his freshly way.
"Yayuh! Hold on, Ima go get Nipa!" Ink cheered and suddenly jumped into the VOID, causing Cross to panic. "Hey wait-!" "The hell-?!" "Doncha worry broskis! Lil' skittles is gonna be fine! The VOID ain't always a portal to death!" Fresh grinned while Cross blinked. "It... Isn't?" "Nope!" Fresh cheered, soon enough, Error was then seen getting dragged through the portal, blinking in surprise once he saw Cross. "... You've came back?" "Yes... I uhm... Wanted to know the whole truth." "And X...?" "Mostly just fucking forced here, I still hate you! Fuck you!" X frowned as he pointed at Error before quickly hiding behind Cross, oh stars he just fucking dissed at a Deity!
Error blinked lightly before just humming a bit, he expected as much. "X!" Cross hissed softly and Error shook his skull a bit. "It's fine, Cross." Error smiled gently and Cross blinked, slowly nodding and relaxing. "Alright..." Cross muttered and Error glanced at the rest. "I would like some alone time to talk with Cross then... Unless you don't want to?" Error glanced at Cross, who blinked and quickly shook his skull. "I don't mind honestly... If- If it would mean you're comfortable." "I care about your comfort too." Error spoke softly and Cross was silent for a moment before sheepishly smiling. "It's okay, I would like to be alone to..." "Arrriight! Lil' Inky brah, let's bounce!" "Yay!" Ink cheered happily before dragging Fresh through a portal, leaving Error and Cross alone.
"... So uh... Chocolate?" Cross sheepishly started, Error blinking before a soft laugh echoed from him as they carefully took it. "Thank you." Cross couldn't help but smile at that while X seems to relax a bit, seeing that Error wouldn't attack them...
