"Did you hear that?" I was freaking out just a smidge.
"Yeah?" She was looking a little confused. Maybe we weren't thinking the same thing?
"One Direction is going to be on 93.7 next month!" I was trying to get her to get on the same page as me, but it wasn't working out all that great. She maneuvered her way around me to get to her closet.
"So are we planning on listening to them or something?" She obviously still wasn't thinking properly.
"Better!" I said it so fast, I could hardly remember even saying it my own self.
"Huh?" She was shuffling through all of her clothes, holding different shirts and pants up to herself in front of the mirrors that were the sliding doors to her closet.
"B-e-tt-errrr..." I was annoyed because she wasn't really even paying attention to me. I mean this was a One Direction subject! Why the hell wasn't she listening to me?
"This isn't another one of your 'crazy ideas' is it?" I had no idea what she was talking about. I always thought my ideas were somewhat logical. I'm not that imaginative. Am I? "I don't know what exactly is going through that head of yours but tell me on the way to work, and go get in the shower, or we're gonna be late for sure!" She always was the more responsible one even though I was the one who woke her up.
"Fine." I turned around to open up the double doors to the bathroom. I was engulfed by steam that Brianna had left in there from her shower. I coughed dramatically. "Geez Bri! When did our bathroom turn into a sauna?!" I was just picking on her.
"Oh my god, Hanna, just hurry up!" She was starting to sound a little aggravated. I turned to close the door behind me, not giving her an answer because I knew that would have just been a distraction for me and she'd just make a bigger ordeal out of it.
We had a somewhat big bathroom. Our dad was a contractor so we had all input into what our room, and bathroom looked like. There was a huge vanity that had two white, square, sinks with very updated faucets. They were silver, mirror, colored, and were those touch and turn on/turn off faucets. It was all on this big bamboo looking counter that had this huge rectangle mirror above it that started at one side of the counter and stopped at the other. Above the mirror was these lights that you would see on makeup tables, backstage, on Broadway or Hollywood or whatever. On the left side of the vanity was a big squared shower with perfectly clear glass walls all the way around it. Across from the shower was a white toilet. On the right side of the vanity there was a ginormous, white, oval bathtub in the corner. The walls were purple and green. It was a pattern. One wall purple, the next one green, and so on. We had cute purple and green circle rugs on the white marbled patterned floor. There were two windows. One next to the bathtub and one next to the toilet. We had put green curtains on one window and purple on the other. We had all kinds of purple and green decorations everywhere to sum it all up.
I walked over to the shower and turned it on so the water could be starting to heat up. I threw my clothes off and played basketball as I shot for the dirty clothes hamper, in between the vanity and bathtub, and scored. I hopped in the shower and attempted to wash off as fast as I could. Once I got out, dried off, wrapped my long light brown hair in a towel, I walked out of the bathroom and over to my dresser to get a bra and some underwear. I always walk through the room naked when I got out of the shower. Even if Brianna was in the room or not I didn't care. She was probably used to it anyways cause I've done ever since I can remember. Brianna had already gotten her clothes picked out, put on, and was in the middle of straightening her hair. Well, our hair is already straight but hers gets poofy after it's wet, and I just have stray hairs flying everywhere when mine does. Brianna had on dark blue jean skinny jeans, some classic crochet coral colored toms, a turquoise tank top with a coral colored drop pocket cardigan, a really pretty infinity scarf that was an off colored white with some lavender, coral, turquoise, and gray old fashioned flowers on it, a skinny lavender belt to match the scarf, and some turquoise rose stud ear rings to pull it all together. "You look cute, Bri!" We have always been the kind of girls that knows what's in and what's not when it comes to fashion.
