Guddan's POV I am sitting in front of the mirror waiting for addu to complete my make up.. "Yeh hogyi meri G.G. tyaar" she said and I looked myself in the mirror..
Engagement hai aaj meri, kal shaadi bhi ho jayegi.. Kya meine yeh decision lekar sahi kara? Iss ek mahine mei hum aur Jindal sahab ek dusre se bahut attach ho gye hai.. Kya hamare liye asaan hoga unki life se jaana agar unhe unka soulmate mil gya toh? Agar hume unse....p-pyaar ho gya..toh? Hum khud se promise karte hai, hum unse jyada attach nhi hoge.. Lekin kya yeh sab asaan hoga?
"G.G." someone shook me "Haa" I replied confused "Kaha kho gye? Aree Haa, jeeju ke khayalo mei kho gye na?" She nudged me "Aisa khuch nhi hai addu" I replied 😑 "Acha ji..koi nhi..abhi neeche jaake unse milna hi hai" she said again teasingly..
I reached downstairs and I walked towards stage with addu on my one side.. As we reached the stage he forwarded his hand and I took it.. He is looking very handsome today..
Handsome toh roj hi lagte hai My heart said 'Woh toh hai' I said
Everyone congratulated us and photographers did their job.. After that panditji said that it is now auspicious time to exchange the rings..
I made him wear the ring we selected that day.. As he took my hand in his hand, addu snatched the ring from him.. "Who want a proposal?" Addu announced on mic.. "Proposal! Proposal!" Everyone hooted.. I looked at him..he was already looking at me.. He took the ring from addu nodding.. He bent down on his one knee and hold my hand with one hand while holding mic with other..
"The day I saw you for the first time..I was mesmerized by your beauty, I found you so cute and beautiful..that day I didn't know that we can one day stand like this together..but I think like you say, it is all destined..Iam glad that we are destined together..the time we spent together till now is you know..umm..very special to me because I just don't have a fiance, a wife but I have a true best friend..umm..Iam very bad at expressing but Ms. Guddan Gupta, Will you Marry me? Will you be Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal? Would you like to live your rest of life with me?"
He said and I was very happy hearing him.. Tears were welling up in my eyes..I don't know the reason..maybe my worry about future.. "Yes..I will marry you Mr. Akshat Jindal" I said and he slide down the ring into my finger.. Everyone hooted, clapped and showered flower petals on us.. We both were smiling..
"It's time for a lovely couple dance.." Vachan said taking mic from addu.. "Ab engagement party bina couple dance ke puri thodi na hogi..dj, hamare iss pyaare se couple ke liye ek pyaara sa music ho jaaye" addu said snatching back the mic.. Soon, the music started.. He wrapped his one hand around my waist as I kept one on his shoulder.. we intertwined our free hands and swayed on the music forgetting the world..slipping into our own world where only we two are together.. no one else..no worries..just us..

I came out of the trance we are in or maybe I was in..the last part of song correctly defines us.. I took steps away from him as he stopped and looked in front.. Hum Jitna bhi time gujare ek saath..bas mujhe aapse pyaar na ho jaaye..kyunki phir aapse dur jana humse na ho payega..😔
Everyone was clapping and hooting "what a lovely couple!".. Soon, the function and day ended..

Today is my mehendi.. We decided to have a pink theme for today..just tried to be different like always.. Currently, I am sitting with my both hands on a pillow with support of my elbows.. I am tired and bored.. I am hungry too..😐 I looked here and there for someone and every one was busy.. "Kisko dhund rhi ho..jab hum idhar hai" came the voice of my soon to be husband.. "Aapko hi dhund rhe the hum toh..chaliye ab khuch khila dijiye..bhuk lagi hai" I said

"Ok sahiba.." he said and left from there.. He came back with a glass of juice and some fruits.. "Bas, fruits?" I said looking at him.. He sat down beside me and shushed me.. "Chup chap piyo" he said forwarding the glass of juice which has a straw.. I drink it like a obedient child.. He put the glass aside and made me eat the fruits.. "Bas aur nhi" I said and he looked at me "Yeh toh bas fruits hai" he said mocking me for what I said earlier.. I pursed my lips in a thin line and bow down my head😐..
"Jindal sahab hum thak gye" I said as I stretched my hands.. Artists are doing there work by covering my legs with heena.. He didn't said anything but stood up.. I confusely looked at him.. He came behind me and massaged my shoulders lightly.. "Now, feeling relaxed biwiji" he said and I nodded.. I didn't bother to say anything because I was too busy enjoying the massage.. I relaxed a bit on the sofa I was sitting.. He continued his work as I closed my eyes..
Heena artist completed their work and told me to remove it before sleeping only..not before that.. I nodded at them tiringly..
Addu came and drag me and Jindal sahab to dance floor with her..careful about my mehendi.. Everyone joined us..
We all danced on 'London thumakda', 'Punjabi wedding', 'sauda khara khara', 'tareefa', 'nachdene saare' etc.. Not to mention vachan's dance and how he dragged Jindal sahab also with him.. We all enjoyed a lot..
'Tomorrow, is the big day'..with this thought I laid down on bed after removing my mehendi..
