Athanasia pov

'Ambrose said that the palace is here somewhere...' I thought as I kept walking around the forest

I saw a palace 'this must be it'. I took out the bracelet that Ambrose gave me and broke the gem just like he told me too

then I walked inside the castle

The ivory walls and gold decorated shelves were way beautiful than both the Ruby and the oleander palace combined

'it looks abandoned, is this really where that cruel man lives!?'

Seeing as there was nobody there I made my way inside. There I saw a man with red hair making his way towards me

'felix robane?' I think, 'red hair and grey eyes... That must be him then!'

I wanted to move but I remembered what Ambrose told me

Flashback

"This jewel Is made from magic and can be used only once for exactly 15 hours" said the blonde boy as he handed his sister the bracelet

"For a normal person it will be as if you were a plant so if there is someone, don't move"

"This thing took an year to make and can easily trick Claude so don't waste it or get caught athy" he also added

"After you go inside search for a Library without a window, I'll meet you there" he said as he ushered his sister towards the forest

'still wonder why he couldn't come with me though' I thought as I stayed still for a movement

The knight made his way past me and headed outside

'so it actually works'

I then made my way towards the first door I opened it to find a bedroom

'a guest bedroom probably' i said to myself as I walked towards the second door

I then remembered how huge this castle is

'...this is going to be a lot of work' I thought as I disappointedly opened the second door to find a closet with cleaning supplies

Three hours later

I was exhausted by the time I found the library

'weird , I didn't see any maids or knights this whole time' I thought as I sat down on the floor waiting for my brother

Then I saw a book at the bottom of the shelf I was next to

'wouldnt hurt to read a book in the mean time' i picked out the book and started reading it

Slowly drifting myself to sleep

Ambrose pov

Just as al teleported me to the library, the first thing I see is my sister on the floor

Sleeping.

While holding a book as her pillow

I giggled as I walked towards her and shook her a little

"Athyy wake up" I whisper as she moves a little

"Athyyy" I repeat as she opens her eyes

"Rose?" She sleepily asks, as u help her up

"Let's go before it's too late" I say as we walked out of the library

"So what are we doing now?" Athy asked

"We have to search for his bedroom" I say "he keeps his schedule there"

"What if we get caught?" Athy asked, worried

"He isn't home athy, don't worry" I said as I opened the door to his bedroom

"Woah" athy looked around the blue room

"Is that made of gold?" She asked no one in particular but I still answered "probably"

"Are you sure he isn't here" she asked again

"I'm sure now help me with the documents" I said as I pointed at a desk in his room

We both started going through his documents one by one
