Transformation Tuesday

Dear Diary,

A gas line burst at our school earlier today so I got to come home early! It was 7:30 and I was just walking into class when the alarm went off. So everyone evacuated the building and they had us standing outside for like an hour in the freezing cold! Well it wasn’t terribly cold..it would’ve been a decent temperature if the wind didn’t ruin it. Anyways, most of the people were either sitting in their cars or leaving before they made the announcement school was closing. This may seem like a dream come true but I happened to be standing outside near Keegan’s car and he asked me come join him in his car so I wouldn’t be stuck in the cold. He had two other friends with him that sat in the car with us but I wasn’t complaining. I just felt lucky to be in that situation! Sadly, nothing much happened in his car. I was pretty much just listening to his friends talk and acting interested. The only thing Keegan talked to me about was the gas line bursting and how our teacher was stupid for not allowing us to leave. But I’ll take anything I can get from him! Maybe he’ll start saying hi to me in the hallway from now on since we’re technically not strangers anymore. Or maybe he won’t because other people may call him out on being nice to the fatty… High school really is like hell.
