Chapter 3

MIKEY

"Congratulation, Pah-chin!" Draken said and smiled widely.

"Thanks, man!" Pah-chin said and fist bump Draken. I wish it's always like this, everyone is happy, no death, and no one is associated with any dangerous gang. Is the best future that ever happens.

I look around and didn't see a certain blond in the crowd, probably she revert back to her original color. But, I see no one with brilliant blue eyes.

"Hey, have you seen Takemitchy? I can't see her anywhere, did she even attend the wedding?" I asked and look around.

Everyone is silent, no one dares to speak.

"I'll bring you to her later, now enjoy the party for a while. Okay?" Ken-chin said and hold my shoulder. I look at him and he looks sad.

They resume and continue on with what they are doing.

What happened while I was gone?

I sat down on one of the chairs and drink the glass of champagne in my hand, what Ken-chin said never left.

I'm nervous.

I was riding in the back of Ken-chin's bike, we were still in suits. No one is speaking until Ken'chin decided to break the ice.

"So, what happened to Nanami? Are you still together? Why didn't you bring her to the wedding?" Ken-chin asked, eyes still on the road.

"We broke up after 5 years ago in Korea, our relationship isn't working out and I found her sleeping with another man so I decided to end it already. That's why you didn't see her anymore." I explained.

I thought Nanami is my true love but looks like I was wrong.

"I see" He simply replied. "We're here," Ken-chin said and stop the bike.

I looked at the surroundings.

Cemetery?

What are we doing here?

Ken-chin get down from his bike, I look confused but still followed him where he was going.

I continue to follow him until we reach a tombstone. I look at what is written on the tombstone.

'HANAGAKI TAKEMICHI'

What?

Takemitchy?

My heart drops, my legs suddenly feel like jelly. My eyes start to water, I look at Ken-chin looking for an answer. 

Ken-chin just looks at me sadly and looks at the tombstone, his eyes start to water too.

"5 days, after you left. She committed suicide by burning her house, while she was still inside. They try to save her but, it's too late. They retrieve her body, it was badly burned. Unrecognizable. We didn't know she's already suffering from depression and heartache" He explained and placed a purple hyacinth on her grave. 

Her favorite flower.

"Did you know, she is truly and madly in love with you. I can't believe that you didn't notice it, will probably be because you are more focused on the gang than her feelings." He continues.

She loves me?

"You know, I can't help to blame you on her death. But, I realized that Takemitchy will be sad and told me that it's not your fault and probably cry." he chuckles at the thought.
