Chapter 10

Mikey opened the door of the hall and was greeted with Sanzu standing in the center, gun in his hand and a smirk plastered on his face. The dead body of the guest scattered around the used to be the shiny and clean tiled floor. Blood splatter all over the window and wall, plates and glass lay broken on the floor. 

The workers are also not safe as bullets are littered all over their bodies. There are handprints on the window and door indicating them trying to flee.

It was a very scary and traumatizing sight to see.

It makes Mikey's stomach turn, as the smell of blood and gunpowder linger through the hall. Mikey covered his nose, the smell just make him want to barf.

It was sickening.

"How are you, Mikey~?" Sanzu said as he laughed maniacally. The door behind Mikey closed, Mikey looked behind him.

There is no way out.

'Shit! It was all planned out! I fell on his web again.' Mikey thought. Mikey looked around trying to find Takemichi but didn't find her. 

"If you're finding My Goddess, you will not see her anywhere," Sanzu said with a grin plastered on his face. "How stupid... I planned to make Takemichi was you as you fall into your downfall, but I decided" Sanzu said as he hold his katana and point it at me.

"I think, your head is more than enough" as he swings the katana and looks at me, with bloodlust in his eyes and a creepy grin plastered on his face.

Without any second, Sanzu charged towards Mikey swinging the katana. Mikey immediately dodge the attack, he notice the metal pipe lying next to him, he took it and used it to block the incoming attack of Sanzu's katana, then kick Sanzu on his stomach. 

"Why won't you just die! Stupid trash!" Sanzu said and immediately stand up then attack Mikey and wounding his right arm.

"Hah...Hah..." Inupi is panting hard as he holds his arm where he has been shot.

"Face it, Inupi. You lose, Takemichi is ours now so give up already." Koko said face contorted in seriousness as he look at his wounded friend.

"Takemichi chose me. I have always been on her side during those 10 years, where it should be you that was on her side and comforting her." Koko walks closer at Inupi, towering him.

He then points his gun at him and looks at him.

"Any last word?" Koko asked as he look at Inupi like he was a speck of dirt.

"Y-your r-right... I'm in no position t-to act as an h-hero... I-i... I h-have failed to save her... I have n-neglected her... I'm u-useless..." Inupi speaks baring the pain on his arm. Koko just looks at him.

"I-i was not t-there when she slowly f-fell... to the darkness..." 

"B-but, just t-this once... I w-want to correct my mistake... I want to make sure that she will never be lonely again..." Inupi tears start to fall.

"I want to stay by her side again...J-just this once... P-please, let me be with her just this once... Let me be on her side, just this once... But if m-my death w-will make forgiven on my sin... T-then I will accept... " Inupi smiled as tears stream down from his eyes.

He closed his eyes and waited for his, but it never happened. He opened his eyes and look straight at Koko's eyes. 

"You are truly stupid aren't you?" Koko said then lowered his gun.
