Week two of living with the strange man now known as Tomura Shigaraki. Rooming was still quite strange, but the two had grown somewhat fond of each other, even though the name calling and constant arguing was still a factor they needed to work on. Surprisingly, Basil had started to come out of the room more as well, even going outside upon her own will, though, all she would do is sit on the porch and bask in the sun, watching as Duke herded cattle or would just simply help around the farm.
The two sat on the porch boredly as they looked out over the field of cattle, the wind just barely picking up stranded flowers and dust as it soared across the decent amount of land. Y/N furrowed her brows watching as some of the overgrown grass waved at her almost mockingly, taunting the bored girl. "UUUUGH! I WANNA GO OUT AND DO SOMETHING!" She shouted in aggravation, slamming a fist on the withered old table. Shigaraki looked at the girl in annoyance, his hands shoved into the pocket of his hoodie, fumbling with his completely useless phone. "Can you shut up. You got kicked in the rib by one of the damn cows just yesterday. How can you focus on working?" Shigaraki asked in annoyance as he poked at the hand on his face, trying to figure out how the simple girl can be such a busy body, even when she's injured. "I FEEL NO PAIN- ACK!" Y/N practically choked on her own words, trying to flex but only caused the large bruise on her side to get irritated, sending a wave of pain through her body. The injured girl slunk back into her seat in disappointment, ignoring the look she received from her room mate. "Uh huh. It's supposed to be our break day anyways. What the hell are you gonna do when there's no orders and nothing needs to be fixed up? I double checked this morning. There's nothing to do." Shigaraki shot down as he furrowed his brows in complete confusion at the girl. "I hate just sitting! I could be taking peppermint out for a ride or making extra food for if someone suddenly orders! I'm not used to just sitting around!" The girl complained as she placed her face flat on the surface of the table.
Shigaraki scoffed at the girls eagerness to work and looked back out over the grass filled land. "Just sit down for a second. Why do you even wanna put yourself through the damn stress of working? That's like knowing that you're health bar is low and you head out for a boss battle out of nowhere." Shigaraki said, the comparison not even stumping the girl. Y/N looked up from the table at Shigaraki with furrowed brows, a strange intensity in the girls eyes as she stared at the hand man. Shigaraki froze at the girls icy stare, her eyes reminding him of a blue flame user that he met not so long ago. "I know myself better than anyone; when you give me an inch I'll take a mile. I can't get stuck in a loop of not doing anything. Not again." The woman said almost intensely before, wincing in sudden pain, slamming her head back onto the the table with a loud thud. "God damn it!" The girl cried, her words muffled due to her current position. Shigaraki rolled his ruby eyes at the pained girl, slumping further into his seat with a groan. "Then make a resting action your job for now. Like streaming or something. You can still make money if your good enough or have decent humor that pleases the masses." Shigaraki said as he removed the hand from his face, setting it down on the table before refocusing his attention on the girl. "No can do. Last time I streamed, I got some fucked up fan art and fics. None of it was bad but still. It kinda freaked me out..." The girl said awkwardly before shivering at the memory of the sickening art. Shigaraki furrowed his brows at the woman's invisible flashback and shrugged. "Not sure what you mean but I get it. Most creeps tend to sexualize women who like playing video games.. Do you have any other hobbies?" Shigaraki said as he watched the girl fiddle with the clawed hand, poking and prodding at the palm and fingers. "I like taking care of my farm-" "No." The girl was shot down by Shigaraki, and groaned, rolling her eyes as she lightly poked at one of the fingers.
"I guess art is kinda a hobby. I dropped it a few years ago though." The girl finally answered as she furrowed her brows, clenching her jaw in slight disappointment as Shigaraki slipped the leathery appendage out of her hands and placed it back on his face. Shigaraki shoved his hands into his hoodie pocket in thought before turning to the girl, his disheveled hair swaying to the side letting one of his eyes peak over the crevasse of the hand. Y/N looked over almost boredly as she locked eyes with the hand man, neither of them interrupting the silence for what seemed like forever. "What kind of art?" Shigaraki finally asked, some curiosity in his tone.
