Breathing controlled Obi-Wan let himself float in his mind. The ancient energies that were left in this place, were soothing and comforting. He could feel the vast knowledge and history around him. It felt so familiars and yet so different. The Light Side was vibrating through the chamber and lulled him into a serene trance.
"Ewh, gross!" A female voice beside him exclaimed, ripping through his meditative state, and the Jedi felt the wide-open door between him and her shut right after her irritation and embarrassment had arrived in his mind. "Anakin!" The young Togruta tore her hand out of Obi-Wans grasp before she jumped to her feet.
Obi-Wan opened his eyes. And was met with stinging, deep yellow ones, that stared at him like they wanted to undress him, practically bleeding arousal. An impish smile adorned the handsome, yet scarred face.
"Seriously, I'm out!" Ahsoka declared, throwing her arms in an exasperated manner in the air. Obi-Wan watched her stomping out of the meditation chamber. When he looked back to Anakin, the smile was broader. He was laughing. And it was difficult to match this lighthearted sound with the yellow eyes. Something in his mind was unwilling to connect those two things with the same person.
Sighing Obi-Wan ran a hand over his face. This again. "You could have at least tried." He tried to pull his hand out of Anakin's but was met with resistance, as Anakin's fingers just curled around his wrist firmly. Obi-Wan gave up.
"I never was good at sitting in one place and doing nothing." Anakin explained.
"Meditating is not doing nothing." The Jedi retorted feeling deeply offended by this statement. But it was true, that meditating was nothing his Padawan had ever had the patience for. At least not since he had entered puberty.
"I could imagine doing far better things than sitting and dwelling on the Force."
"Considering Ahsoka's reaction, you have done exactly that." Obi-Wan cracked an eyebrow. No matter how often they tried to get him to meditate, he would give up after a few minutes and indulge in his fantasies. Obi-Wan had felt him starting to do so and had closed his door, to not be disturbed by the images his former Padawan would not doubt start projecting into his mind at some point. If he wanted it or not. Apparently, those fantasies had been strong enough that Ahsoka had picked up on them, even though their bond was nowhere as strong as the massive link between Obi-Wan and Anakin.
The young woman had been very supportive of that thing, whatever it was, between them. She had called Obi-Wan out on his feelings even before they had landed on Nar Shadaa. Their first hiding place. Which they had had to leave after a month, when a mercenary, who they had socialized with, had pinched Obi-Wans butt and winked at him. Anakin had blown the whole situation out of proportion and slammed her into the next wall, raging about how he would rip out her throat if she ever dared to lay a finger on his boyfriend again. Of course, they had to leave after that. Too much unwanted attention. Too many people this had pissed off because their friend had been hurt.
Now they were on Ossus. A planet with huge amounts of Jedi history that was rotting as the empire didn't support any companies to unfold the mysteries of the ancient Jedi. Which was probably better. The planet was swarming with smugglers, treasure hunters, and mercenaries. Obi-Wan didn't know as much about this planet as he would like to. But he was learning. Just walking the ruins was giving him so much knowledge. They had even discovered some very well hidden Holocrons, which Obi-Wan loved to occupy himself with. It had been tricky to find the hidden room. But Obi-Wan had felt their echoes in the Force. Like they were talking to him. Like they had wanted to be found after waiting for so long for someone to hear them calling. And the Jedi had been happy to be able to save something this valuable from scavengers.
