Dante Pov

Dante: And that! Is why you should quickly dispatch your opponent in a fight to the death scenario. While of course you lot, already know this. But! Demons are petty creature, and will still try to stab you from the back even after they're already dead.

I chuckled as many of the shipgirls took notes of my lesson.

Dante: And if you see any Demon bigger than this obese little thing. Either give me a call and run away, or, run away and give me a call. Capisce?

I drew them an image of a Behemoth and they all nodded.

Dante: Good, class dismissed. And don't forget to memorize the kinds of Demons that may appear. They tend to just appear out of nowhere so knowing what kind of Demon you are facing, is definitely an advantage you can use.

As I dismissed my shotgun class of basically every shipgirls within Azur Lane. Eugen strutted her way towards me with a smile that will definitely kill virgins.

Eugen: Ara, working hard again I see~

She moved behind me and I let her be, honestly. It's actually fun to finally have someone to banter with other than Lady, Trish, and Nero who definitely doesn't have anger issues.

Morrison is there but the man's always busy and snark is his answers to my bullshit.

Eugen however, definitely knows how to fire back salvos.

Dante: Well, what can I say? All part of being a Demon Hunter. That and I may or may not have a knack for teaching.

She giggled as she traced a finger from by shoulder to my back.

Eugen: You definitely know how to teach. I'd say if you were actually one, you'd definitely be a favourite.

Dante: Heh, I'd say. I may be a favourite, but that doesn't mean they're safe from test.

She finished her rotation and stood in front of me, with a hand on her hip.

Eugen: Speaking of tests. Aren't you supposed to have a spare with Takao? She certainly has enough excitement to make the little destroyers jealous.

I laughed as I offered my arm to her, which she accepted by hooking hers to mine.

Dante: That's for later, now I should avoid that vixen.

My Dante senses are tingling! I quickly picked up Eugen, which resulted in a Yelp of surprise. And used Trickster to give me a bost of speed to avoid an on the hunt Akagi. Who barely missed us.

Eugen: Give me a warning next time will you.

I chuckled as I let her down. We are now at the Docks, which is full of activity. Shipgirls doing maintenance with one of the most adorable little Kansens I've seen. The Bulins, and of course, the Manjuus. Which are not chickens, much to my stomach's dismay.

Dante: Don't worry, next time. You'll be used to it.

She playfully rolled her eyes as I chuckled. Oh well, I guess I should actually warn her... Just a little bit.

Dante: Welp, since the spar is not till tomorrow. Is there anything else that I need to do, other than paperwork?

I slightly paled at remembering the massive towers of papers. Luckily, I have Doppleganger to do the work for me.

Eugen: Other than that, no. Though I guess the shipyard could use a little bit more supervision. Not that the Bulins and Majuus are careless, but to get familiar with the surroundings?

She said with an underlying uncertainty under her tone.

Dante: Well, never hurts to know your subordinates and coworkers. Though I'll most likely just call them by a nickname.

She rolled her eyes with a huff. What? At least I care. Well, better than Vergil that's for sure. I wonder if he got back safely though? Meh, if something did happen to him, he's either just slicing his way through it or actually talking it out... I'll go with both. Yeah, both sounds good.

U'Bulin: Watch out!

I heard one of the Universal Bulins tell on top of their lungs, followed up by an explosion and a barrel of fuel flying straight at me.

Dante: Royal Guard!

Yelling out my technique for the fun of it, I went into a defensive stance and blocked the explosive projectile. The resulting impact also caused it to explode on my face.

Eugen: Dante!

I chuckled as I heard Eugen yelled out my name.

Dante: Relax sweetheart, I'm fine.

As the dust cloud settled, I got to see another worried face of Eugen, that even her sister couldn't see on a daily basis.

Dante: A little explosion in the morning doesn't hurt anyone... That's me of course, heh.

I wiped myself off and another Universal Bulin took the half exploded barrel with an apologetic gaze sent to my way.

To which I only gave her a thumbs up.

Eugen: Right, you're not wrong there. Remind me to not get worried when it's you, who's getting blasted.

I rolled my eyes at her.

Dante: Spiteful one are you? Well anyway, other than the fact that I still yet to get a debriefing about the Sirens you girls have been fighting, I got nothing else to do.

We continued walking around the port, until Eugen looked like she got reminded of something.

Eugen: Right, I think it's time for a maintenance check with the dorms.

Dante: Ah, well. I guess there's a first time for everything. Other than clogged up toilets, there's nothing else I could do.

Eugen suddenly smirked smugly.

Eugen: Oh? This isn't just about clogged up toilets.

Dante: Why am I getting a bad feeling about this?

Eugen only giggled, confirming it's either going to make a dent in my newly acquired richness, or my mental sanity.

Seems like this is getting attention once more, well... Kinda? I'm still trying to get back to writing this fic, mostly because this is connected to my Vergil book. Plus, I'm planning on making a clusterfuck of a chapter in both books... Oh and, any idea where I could send Nero? Would appreciate any ideas you people could think of. Anyway, hope you guys like this chapter, and sorry for a short one. But I hope you peeps could understand. SOUL out!
