crashed

chapter one

I walked into my parent room. They were going with the night flight .I looked at Nabil and Nafisa sitting on my parents' laps. We will never stop feeling like kids. That's what happens when you get pampered a lot. It's not like we misuse it.

"Get off mum laps" I shouted at Nabil. He is 13 years old but still behaves 5.

"You talk like you don't sit down on dads' lap" he replied sticking his tongue out like a typical five years old.

"What a big baby "I replied sitting in between my parent.actually, forcing myself into the little space between my parent.

I watched Nabil fall off and Nafisa stifle a laugh. She just lost her two front teeth recently.

"We didn't do our normal daily selfie"Nabil said. Daily selfie is this tradition Nabil came up with. We take a picture everyday and paste it in our family album. Some are nice, some are ugly but at one point we look at it and laugh.

I brought out my phone as everybody huddled together.

"At least this is a nice one"

"Wait! "my dad said as the flash went off.

It just turned out that Nafisa drew on dad face.

"We are taking another one" my dad said as we all shook our heads in disappointment.

"Whether you like it or not, it's going in the album" I told him

We were all laughing and smiling till Nabil mood changed.

"What's wrong?"My dad asked getting his box as mom finished cleaning his face.

"I'm going to miss you" he said hugging my dad.

"It's only for the weekend" my dad said smiling

"I don' think so" Nabil said with a frown

"Be a big boy and promise me you will be a good brother to your sisters. Take care of them okay? Habiba be a good big sis to them all and princess obey your elder ones." dad said as he hugged us.mom came running out with her remaining things. So like my mum

"Im going to miss you all. I will call every hour" she said as she hugged all of us individually.

 My parent entered their car after dad recited a quick dua for us all. We slowly retreated back into the house and watched the car drive off.
