When the guards went to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego their friend Daniel asked "Why are you doing this?" The guard answered Daniel "The King had a strange dream that no one can explain to him. So he told us to put all wise men into prison forever."

Daniel did not want this to happen so he said to the guard "Tell the king that I will do it for him. All I ask is for one day." The guard told the King and the King agreed. That night, God showed Daniel what the King had dreamed in a vision. When Daniel learnt about the dream, He knew how to explain it to the King.

The next day the guards came for Daniel and Daniel explained the King's dream. Daniel saved all the wise men in Babylon, and the King promoted him and his friends Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
