It started out just like any other day. I didn't want to get up and go to class, but at the same time I wanted to see David.

So I ended up getting in the shower and going even though I was really tired and didn't want to. Just like always.

I got to class and took my seat. Then I waited for David and we sat through class together. Just like always. Then, when class was over, I got outside first. Just like always.

But after I got outside, something extremely terrifying and unexpected happened. I felt a hand go over my mouth and yank me backwards..

          ** David's POV**

So class was over for today. Thank goodness. I grabbed my stuff and turned, but I didn't expect her to still be sitting there. She wasn't. She always got out there before me.

When I stepped outside I started looking for her. Just like always. But the funny thing was, I didn't see her, and I couldn't figure out why. She always waited for me. Why would she just leave? That's not like her at all.

I started walking back and forth trying to see if she was anywhere around me, but I couldn't find her. I started walking to see if she was standing farther away than she usually did, but she wasn't. That's when I started panicking.

Surely she didn't just leave. She wasn't upset when she left, or.. at least I hoped she wasn't. I hadn't said anything to upset her, I knew that. Where did she go?

Right after I thought that, I heard a sound. It wasn't anything weird that would scare anyone, except for me.

Someone was crying. It was a girl, I knew. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, though. It sounded like it was coming from somewhere behind me, but when I turned, I couldn't see anyone that was upset. So I listened. I could still hear it, but it was extremely faint. I walked backwards a little more and saw a narrow spot between two of the buildings on campus.

I walked over to the corner and peeked around it, and what I saw broke my heart.
