. During Bada's second pregnancy (with her identical twin boys) she contracted Rubella. She was obviously freaked out about it, so she quickly saw her doctor about it and they did what they needed to, and after that, they kept the twins monitored and had her go to check ups more frequently.
. Bada had to be put on bed rest when she was almost four months along, otherwise she could have lost her twin boys. She could only get up to bathe and use the bathroom, and the doctors came to her for her appointments.
. Bada went into labor a little early, November 30th, and something startling happened: when her water broke, she started bleeding. Quite a bit. So she was hurried to the hospital by ambulance, Yoongi with her, and the twins were c sectioned, as Bada passed out and nearly flat-lined, but they managed to get her stabilized.
. The twin boys seemed to be okay, save for the fact that one was pretty malnourished. Since Bada did have Rubella, it wasn't a shock to the doctors that at least one was so small, plus it seemed one twin had better access to nourishment than the other one did.
. They checked the twins for any signs of being deaf, but both responded to sound. They then checked them for heart defects and other organ defects but found nothing. The doctors warned Yoongi that they could have growth delays, mental problems, or other physical problems due to the Rubella.
. Bada had gone into a coma, so she was being kept on life support and such to ensure she would live. Yoongi stayed by her side for a week straight before Hoseok convinced him to come home and let someone else stay with her for the time being, that way he could get some proper rest. Yoongi agreed to it because he knew Bada would want him to be with Yoon Mi, Nabi, and Deiji during this time.
. After another week, Yoongi was able to bring the twin boys, Chinhae and Daeshim, home on Christmas Eve. He brought them home and every weekend he went to visit Bada in the hospital. She was still in a coma and didn't respond to anything. But he still talked to her about what was going on with their kids and going on at home.
. The reason for Bada's coma was partly the c section, as it can happen, and it was lack of oxygen to the brain. Her heart had stopped beating, but doctors revived her and then put her on life support and such as quickly and safely was they could.
. Five weeks passed by, and Bada still did not wake up. But she still had some brain activity. Yoongi still visited her weekly, sometimes more often than that. Even after five weeks, he still always said when she came home, not if, because he just knew that she would wake up.
. Finally, after being in a coma for almost eight weeks, Bada woke up, her last memory being before she passed out before the twins were even out of her. She woke up when Yoongi was there, and Yoongi hugged her and cried before he was able to tell her what had happened, why it had happened, and how long she had been asleep.
. Bada still had some recovering to do, so she couldn't leave, but he did bring their children so they could see Bada, and the twin boys were obviously included. Bada healed quickly, and within a couple of weeks of being monitored, she was cleared to go home. She had to go in a wheelchair, though, and keep up with her physical therapy exercises.
. Side note: Bada did have to have a hysterectomy performed, as she had problems with it and that is what caused all of the bleeding. The damage was probably because of the Rubella infection, or maybe indirectly so, but it resulted in her having to have a hysterectomy, so she will never again be able to carry children.
. Chinhae was growing at a pretty quick rate, and he, the firstborn, was always the larger of the twins. Daeshim, however, was very small for his age and was honestly sickly looking because of how thin, pale, and tiny he was. He ate, though he didn't eat as well as Chinhae, so he had regular doctor's visits. The doctors couldn't find anything physically wrong with him, so they had to start trying to test him mentally the best they could.
. It was found out that the rubella Bada had contracted affected Daeshim mentally rather than physically.
