Soon it was night and Lily had to close the shop.
"Shouldn't you be getting home now? Your parents must be worried sick." Lily questioned.
"My parents don't care about me. They kicked me out. I suppose all I can do now is steal some money from muggles and try to get a room at an inn." Regulus replied, careful not to show Lily that tears were blossoming in his eyes.
"Nonsense, you must stay with me."
"Oh, I couldn't." Regulus mumbled, getting slightly embarrassed because of all of the kindness Lily had shown him in the last hour alone.
"Please come with me Regulus. My flat mates won't mind." She insisted.
"I guess I could stay for a nigh-" He started but was cut off by Lily's shriek of delight.
"We must go at once!" She exclaimed while pulling him by the hand out of the door and out into the busy street. Regulus couldn't help but get a flashback to when his mother did something similar to him mere hours ago.
They sped through the street, now arm in arm, chatting to one another happily. Suddenly, Regulus had a question.
"Lily?" He asked, "Do you own the shop?"
"Oh me? Pfft, no. My flat mate does. His boyfriend owns a book shop a few shops away from it."
The two of the returned to the conversation they were having about Lily's son and husband and walked a few more blocks until they saw it.
The "it" I'm referring to is a gigantic building with marvelous windows and colourful walls. They walked inside and climbed to the top of the steps, arriving at the top (and largest) flat in the building.
The door had a Large rainbow "welcome" mat in front of it and "J hearts L" and "S + R" carved into it.
Lily dug in her bag for her keys and pulled out a very full key chain with a billion keys on it. She opened the door and stepped in, Regulus following her at a slow and awkward pace.
"Good evening boys, this is-"
"CAPELLA?"

" I wish I could be a boy...."
FanficCapella- I mean Regulus came out and as a result, was kicked out of his home just as his elder sibling had been a year prior.
