TO MY ONE AND ONLY LOYAL READER. THIS IS FOR U ELIS ILY. (Btw I'm pretending that regulus is 5 years younger than the marauders and his bday is August 13th 1965)

August 1st, 1980, Regulus's POV

When the owl post came in today I was pleasantly surprised to see a letter for me and hoped that it was from my sibling Sirius. It was and I excused myself from the breakfast table and clambered upstairs as fast as I could, earning unpleasant remarks from my parents because, and I quote "A lady should walk up the stairs in a dainty, graceful manner."

I swung Sirius' bedroom door open and plopped myself onto their bed. I had been sneaking into his room as often as I could ever since he was kicked out. I miss them so much.

I got comfy in Sirius' bed and opened the letter.

Dear Capp,

Yesterday was a good day. James' son was born. His name is Harry. You should have seen him, he looks just like his dad, with messy brown baby hairs and has Lily's green eyes. He's so precious. I hope you can meet him one day.

That wasn't the only good thing that happened today. MOONY SAID THAT HE WANTS BABIES TOO. I'm so happy, can you imagine tiny Remuses running around? That's would be adorable.

Anything new with you? I hope Old Onion and Wallie are treating you alright. I promise that as soon as you turn 17 I'll help you leave that wretched place, please don't become one of them by then.
I love you,
Siri

The letter used to make Regulus tear up, not just because of the content but also because he hadn't had the courage to tell his sibling that he wasn't "Cappella" anymore.

He knew that Sirius wouldn't be upset or anything, maybe they'd even tell him that they already suspected it, but he just couldn't get himself to do it. He could hardly accept the fact himself, so how would anyone else?

Days later, when "cleaning" Regulus's room, Walburga finds the letter an destroys it. She then sends something to Sirius, a howler that went on for 30 minutes.
