Jennie's POV

My name is Jennie Ruby Jane Kim, a very simple girl who's not that smart and not that dumb too. I have a very big and deep crush on Lisa Manoban, the campus heartthrob. We are very different from each other. I'm not that attractive and popular. I'm just a nobody compared to the girls that she's been dating over the past years.

A/N let's all pretend that Jennie is not that attractive and smart.

Lisa is a very smart person, no one in our campus comes close to her intelligence. You won't ever notice that she's intelligent because of the way she acts. She dates so many girls and I often got jealous because of it but I don't have the guts and strength to confess what I feel for her since the first time I saw her here at the campus.

When I was in 8th grade, I was diagnosed to have a leukemia. I often vomit blood whenever I'll skip my medicines. At that time, I couldn't accept that I will be leaving this earth soon. But then I met Lisa, she gave me a reason to live, she gave me a reason to keep going and I will never forget her until my last breath. I will continue to love her even from a far.

"Jen are you ready for school?!" That's my friend Rosie, ever since she knew about my sickness, she never leave me behind. She would always take me to school and take me home after. Every weekends, she would spend her saturdays with me and her girlfriend, Jisoo. Actually, Jisoo is a bestfriend of Lisa. Small world, right?

"Yes, Rosie! I'll be there in a minute." I fix myself in front of my mirror before going out of my room.

"Mom, dad, We'll get going now!" I said then place a kiss on their cheeks.

"Go home immediately after class, okay?" My dad reminded me.

"Yes, dad!" I said then left the house.

Since we've found out about my case, my dad became more strict about my whereabouts and who am I going with. He always make sure that I am safe and in good hands, that's why they give their full trust to Rosie because they know that Rosie won't do me any harm.

"Jen you're spacing out again. Care to share what's on your mind? Hmm?" Rosie ask without looking at me.

"I'm just thinking about confessing what I feel for Lisa. You know, my days here are already limited, why don't I live my life to the fullest, right?" I said.

"You know, you have my full support in everything you do." Rosie said then gave me a small smile.

I'm just so lucky to have supportive and loving people around me. They help me to think positively everyday.

"Maybe I'll do it tomorrow, before I go home." I said.

The next day...

The classes already ended and I have already decided to tell Lisa the feelings I have for her. I told Jisoo to meet me at the campus garden, where  couples used to date. I will miss this place when I died.

I am already sitting at one of the benches while waiting patiently for Jisoo and Lisa.

"Uhm.. hi." A familiar voice that I love to hear spoke at my back.

"Hi Lisa! Please have a seat beside me." I gave her my best wide smile.

"Miss, I don't know who you are. My friend just told me to meet you here. Just tell me what's your concern so I can leave now." She said, sounding so bored.

"Just spare me some time. I really have to tell you this." I said, begging for her time.

"Spill." She said.

"Look, I-uh.. I have.. No.. I like y- no scratch that! I love you. I have fallen in love with you ever since I saw you here. I mean.. well, I understand if you don't feel the same. I'm not in the same level of the girls that you dated." I gave her a shy but wide smile.

"Look, uh, I'm sorry but I already have someone else. I can't return the same feeling. I'm really sorry." She sincerely said.

"No, it's okay. You don't have to be sorry! It's a good thing that you already have someone." I showed her my gummy smile as I stood up.

"At least we met, right? I'm Jennie Kim by the way. See you when I see you." I said then walk away from the garden.

When I arrived at the parking lot I imediately run to Rosie and hug her tightly as I free the tears that's been wanting to fall earlier.

"It's okay, JenJen." Rosie said as she tries to comfort me while rubbing my back.

"I didn't thought that it would be painful. I should've prepared myself first." I said while still sobbing.

"God has other plans for you, okay? Stop crying now. You wouldn't want your parents to see you like that, right?" Rosie said then she help me fix myself.

At Kim's residence..

"Mom, dad can I talk to you later? In private if possible." I said seriously. Rosie already left right after dropping me off.

"Sure, darling." Nervousness can be heard at the tone of Mr. Kim's voice.

I run upstairs to my room to change into casual and comfy clothes.

After dinner..

"So what do you want to talk about?" My dad ask.

"I have already made up my mind about this. And I will still continue this even if you're against it." I said.

"Just tell us already. You're making us anxious." My mom said.

"I want to stop my medications. Everything about my sickness. Check ups, medicines, name it. I want to stop it and spent my remaining days with the both of you." I seriously said.

My mom gasp, hearing the words that came out of my mouth.

"Honey, please continue the medications. We want you to be cured." My mom said while tears are falling from her eyes.

"Mom, we all know that my case is not cureable! Not even a single percent possibility that I will be cured! Let's just stop all of this! We are just wasting our times and money!" I shouted.

My mom can't do anything but to cry same with my dad.

"I'm sorry mom and dad but I already made up my mind. I will continue my life. I will live to the fullest until I became weak then I'll die happy." I said the hug them both.
