Another day had gone by and Kayla was still in the hospital. She wanted to get out of here so bad, but the doctors wanted her to stay here for observation. What had she done? Now she was on their list to get professional help, which she did not need and was not going to admit that she needed. She didn't need help and even if she did she didn't trust anyone to help her. Even if people tried to understand, they never would. They didn't feel what she was feeling and didn't experience her life so they had no idea what she was going through and never would. Everyone needed to stop trying to invade her life with their obligated help. Andrew came over to see her yesterday, but she ended on a quick note. She hated for him to see her broken and messy, it wasn't like her at all. Well...I guess....It is her now. She played his visit in her head as she turned to her side.

Her heart stopped as she saw him walk in. The worry creases formed on his forehead as he look at her with concern in his eyes. He walked slowly to her, probably not knowing what to say. How would she explain this to him? Why were there so many people in her life that she had to hide from? She came to Nashville partly to do her dream and partly to run away, but there seemed to more people around her now more than ever.
"Hi." He said softly
She tried to find a smile.
"Hi."
"How are you feeling?"
"I'm feeling good, I just made a dumb move with those pills."
He looked at her with no judgment in his eyes as he held his smile.
"Oh, that's okay. We all make mistakes"
"Yeah." She sighed.
She hide her wrist under the sheet, she didn't want him to see the bandages. What would he think then? Maybe she should reveal it to him so that he wouldn't have this false hope that she would be any good for him.
***Andrew's POV***
Kayla looked beautiful even under the circumstances. He wished that she could see herself as he did. He saw that she was more guarded than before, and that broke his heart. She couldn't push him away, even if she tried. He would stick by her side even if she didn't want him there.
He should have went to her house.
He regretted his decision to give her space that night.
He wanted to hold her and tell her that she was going to be okay, but he knew that it would be too fast for her. She had been hurt and was heavily guarded, he just wished that she would trust him.

Kayla wondered what Andrew was thinking. He probably was shocked at how broken she looked and that wasn't good.
She needed to be strong.
"How are you doing?" She broke the silence.
He gave her a sweet smile.
"I'm doing good, just worried about you."
She looked shocked. Worried? He had no reason to waste his time worried about her.
"You don't have to be worried about me."
"I'm going to be okay." She tried not to sound defensive.
His smile faded into concern.
She must have not played the don't sound defensive and insecure well..........
