Elias waved as he pulled out of Andrew's drive way. Lunch wasn't as awkward as he thought it would be, it felt a little awkward as he walked in the pizzeria with Andrew. Jonah was sitting at a table waiting for them, impatient as always. He seemed okay when he say Andrew, it was all laughs and jokes. A normal reaction to hanging out with great friends. He realized that it was only awkward to him, because of the talk with Andrew and the many talks he had with Jonah. Right when Andrew said her name all the talks he had with Jonah about her flooded his mind. He texted Jonah and asked him to meet him at the Starbucks 10 minutes from him, so that they could talk.
As Elias drove into Starbucks he thought about what he wanted to say to Jonah. It wasn't anything too serious, but he didn't want to cause anything between his two friends. He wanted to make sure that nothing would blow up. Andrew and Jonah were two of his closest friends and he didn't want to make something like this come between them. He parked his car and started to walk towards the entrance when he noticed a girl standing by her car. She looked frustrated and sad as she looked down at her tire. He decided to walk over to her, he couldn't just leave her if she needed help.
"Hey! Are you okay?" He said concerned as he walked towards her.
"Yeah...I'm okay."
He could clearly see that she wasn't okay as she sighed.
"Are you sure? Looks like you have flat tire."
"Yeah I do...." She tried to let out a smile in her frustration.
"Do you need help?" Elias asked
"No, I'm okay. I called a friend. She should be here in awhile."
"Well, it's a little chilly out here and I'm pretty much a pro at fixing tires." He grinned.
She smiled at him
"Well, I don't want to take up your time, you looked pretty determined to go get your coffee."He laughed and looked towards the door.
"It will still be there when I'm done. I can't just leave you stranded out here in the cold, waiting for a friend when I could help you."
"Stranded?" She grinned
"Not stranded....I mean....Not because you can't take care of yourself.....but... He stuttered.
"I'm just messing with you, I knew what you meant." She laughed.
He looked sad and then grinned. "Nice one..."
"Let me just text my friend and let him know I'm out here helping you and then I'll get to work. Okay?"
She looked at him serious when he said that.
"I don't want to interrupt your plans." She said quickly.
"No, it's okay! Jonah will understand, he can come out here and help too."
"Jonah?" She said as her eyes opened wide.
"Yes." He looked at her curiously. "Why? Do you know him?"
"Yes, we actually met awhile back with my roommates." She blushed.
"Oh, I see." He smiled.
"I just realized that I never told you my name, which is awkward because I told you my friends first." He looked embarassed as he looked at her.
She laughed.
"It's okay, I actually knew who you were, but I held back the fangirl inside of me"
he laughed and gave her a sweet smile.
"Aww it's alright I"m used it by now."
She grinned.
"So, now can I tweet like crazy that Elias Stanguard offered to fix my tire?
He laughed.
"Sure."
"Great! She grinned.
"By the way, my name is Kayla."
When he heard her name, he tried to hide the fact that he was surprised.
He heard footsteps behind him and as he turned around he saw Jonah coming towards them.
"Hey, girl!
"So, you're the one with the flat, huh?"
