Third Person POV
"Hey, wait up!" Akko yelled in a whiny voice as she rushed to get her stuff, (Name) helping her out before she was dragged away with the brown haired girl.
"So what's your names?" She asked happily while glancing at both (Name) and the other girl with hopeful eyes
"I'm (Name)." The (h/c) haired girl replied casually.
Akko gave an excited nod at the new girls introduction, she was so excited to become friends with her!
"Is puppet magic difficult?" Her eyes shifted over to the introverted and pale girl who continued walking without any reaction
"I tried to learn it using mail order kit, but it was pretty hard to follow."
(Name)'s eyebrows furrowed hearing those words. Mail order kit? That would never work.
Such horrible methods made her want to simply jump off the bridge she was walking across.
The best way to get results for magic potions and so on was NOT from mail order.
With a sigh, she reminded herself internally to teach Akko a few things about magic potions later on.
"I'm not even sure if I got the basics down." That same cheery voice continued "Anyway, I wanna learn how to use magic like Shiny Chariot so I decided to.."
That's when the pale skinned girl with purple and grayish hair suddenly stopped walking and turned to look at Akko.
"Huh? Uhhh.." The nervous Akko was suprised to see a hand extended out to her, for a handshake. She looked at the hand then up at the girl and that created a cycle of the same movements before she happily shook her hand
"Nice to meet cha!" She said with a happy little laugh.
(Name) just stood on the side awkwardly "I guess no handshake for me." She mumbled to herself only to get a few glances from the introverted girl who was busy shaking Akko's hand.
The (h/c) haired girl glanced back only to notice that snakes were wrapped around Akko's arms "Akko." She quickly mumbled with her hands motioning to Akko's arms.
Akko looked down at her arms and immediately got panicked, jumping backwards step by step in order to get away from the snakes.
(Name) was quick to swiftly snatch the snakes away from Akko, but the chestnut haired girl had fallen off the bridge right at that time.
With a quick jump, the new girl, (Name) had hopped on to the bridges railing before quickly grabbing Akko's extended hand and easily bringing her back up.
"They were ropes." She told Akko as she held up the 'snakes' she was holding, which were actually, like she said, just ropes.
"They were?" Akko asked with a nervous laugh which she got a nod as a response.
"Did you lose anything in your fall?" (Name) asked as she glanced over the bridge to spot any of Akko's belongings in the water below.
"Nope! I don't think so." Akko replied happily as she looked through her stuff "Oh! Thanks for saving me! I really thought I was gonna die!" She said with much enthusiasm.
(Name) sent her a small smile "It's no problem. Now, let's start going?" She offered kindly.
Akko's smile turned into an even bigger one as she quickly nodded to her new, very nice friend.
"Let's go!!"
Quick time skip full of Akko just talking
"That girl, who does she think she is?" A panting, brown haired girl huffed out with annoyance
"Oh, Akko, I think we're here." (Name) said as she continued to walk up the steps, glancing over at the Ley Line Terminal where three witches were at.
The girls whole mood changed from sour to happy in an instant as her eyes caught sight of the three witches "Luna Nova uniforms!" She commented with a gasp.
Meanwhile, the three witches were busy talking amongst themselves
"How did your spring break go?" A certain orange haired girl asked to the others
"Too many tourists. It was really hard to enjoy anything." The purple haired one replied with an unimpressed tone.
"Did you hear? Apparently one of the new students in here isn't from a witches family." The blue haired girl gossiped to which the others replied with
"No way!"
The excited Akko immediately stopped running, however she was already at her destination.
(Name) raised an eyebrow curiously at her, she was so excited so why did she seem a bit discouraged now.
It was very easy to piece up, Akko must be the girl the three witches were gossiping about.
"They've been letting in way too many commoners lately." The same orange haired girl complained
"I've heard they're not doing well financially so letting in commoners helps keep the school open." The blue haired girl continued
"Ugh, of course." One of the girls, the purple haired one, commented. "If this keeps up, who knows who else they'll let in."
(Name) listened carefully to their gossips with an unimpressed look on her face
"I bet she can't even ride a broom." One witch commented all snarkily
"No way." Another replied "Well, she'll be the first person in the history of Luna Nova who can't ride one if that's true."
(Name) took a glance at Akko to see her looking quite nervous and anxious as she began to turn away to most likely avoid the three witches talking about her.
(Name) patted her back gently while grabbing her hand, not letting her run away from such snobby witches. Speaking of these snobby witches.
"Who's that?" One witch asked with her eyes aimed at (Name) and Akko.
(Name) comfortingly held Akko's hand, rubbing it a bit to comfort her
"Oh, I'm new here! Atsuko Kagari." Akko introduced herself with a bit of doubt laced into her voice
"Oh, so you're the one." The blue haired witch judgingly said whilst paying no attention to the other girl.
"And what if she is?" The other girl, (Name) asked, expression emotionless while her usually gentle (e/c) eyes turned cold as she glared at the three witches.
They all immediately tensed and began to stutter a bit before simply going quiet, not expecting the newcomer to be so scary.
"Uhh.. Well.. Sure hopes the bus comes soon, am I right?" Akko said with a nervous laugh, trying to ease up the tension, however she was actually really touched that someone stood up for her for the first time.
(Name) gave her a confused look, wondering if she was joking only to quickly process that she really wasn't.
"What bus?" The purple haired witch commented
"Huh? Isn't this the bus stop?" The three witches instantly burst out laughing at Akko, which got a certain girls blood boiling.
"Better shut your mouths up before I sew it shut." (Name) threatened coldly as she slid a needle and some thread out of her bag, displaying it to the three witches to show them she wasn't kidding.
That immediately made them stop their laughter, even Akko was tense and scared of her right now. The girl would have to make a self note to herself to never make her new friend mad, ever.
