Third Person POV
"Now then." (Name)'s cold personality melted away as soon as she turned over to Akko, a gentle smile soon forming on her lips.
"This is a broom stop, Akko. The Ley Line Terminal, which is the only way to get to Luna Nova. Energy has been running through this Terminal for a long time, so you ride that energy and it'll take you to your destination." The soft (e/c) eyed female educated Akko who eagerly listened with occasional nods
"It's basic witch knowledge." One of the witches replied as they fled away on their brooms, into the ancient building where there should be a portal like space there.
Akko seemed curious about this since she quickly ran after the witches who were riding their brooms to get to the Ley Line Terminal right above them, a space similar to a portal.
"Let's go." One of the three witches said hurriedly
"If you're late to the opening ceremony, you're banned from ever attending Luna Nova." Another replied before flying into the portal, quickly disappearing with sparkles trailing in the air after they left.
(Name) followed after Akko who was looking up at where the portal was.
"What do I do?" Akko whispered in a confused manner, (Name) patting her back as comfort once again.
It wasn't long until Akko was climbing the branches that hugged the buildings walls with groans and grunts.
"Akko, you're gonna get hurt." The worried female on the side told her with her eyes carefully watching her.
Just then, as Akko reached for another branch to climb, it snapped.
A noise of suprise escaped from the girl as she fell towards the ground, closing her eyes and waiting for the impact that never arrived.
"Gotcha." A calm and gentle voice filled the air, warm hands being wrapped around Akko who quickly opened her eyes to see a worried (Name) holding her easily in her arms
"You really gotta be more careful, Akko." Her tone was full of worry whilst she placed the girl on the ground.
Akko stared at her, eyes sparkling happily as her heart got all warm "Thanks for saving me again (Name)!" She thanked her energetically.
It was nice to not be called names, to have someone stand up for her, to just be nice to her in general.
It was really nice.
(Name) gave a gentle smile and a nod, only to hear the sound of footsteps and bells jingling softly.
Her eyes glanced over to see a bright orange haired girl with glasses, panting as she climbed up the stairs
"Aw, I'll be late at this rate.." She complained before her foot bumped against one of the stairs, causing her to fall with a loud crash.
Her things were splattered all across the floor so, (Name) walked over to help her, Akko following.
"I didn't really need all these souvenirs that Mom and Yanne packed for me." The orange haired girl said to herself only to let out a suprised yet confused noise seeing the two girls helping her, one holding out her hat to her while the other cleaned up the mess on the ground.
"Thank you so much..!" She said with a grateful tone, accepting her hat from Akko and her staff like object from (Name).
After getting all her things situated, she quickly rushed inside the same ancient building
"Tia Frey.." The girl stopped halfway through
"Uh.." She glanced over at the gloomy Akko who was staring at her, with (Name) who was going through her bag right next to her.
"Oh um, are you not coming too? The ceremony's starting soon." She commented only to get a whimper from Akko, who was about to cry a river.
(Name) was too focused on looking through her bag to reply, seeming to be eager about something.
"Are you two new? I've never seen you before. Luna Nova's pretty strict about rules. If you're late, you're automatically expelled so we should hurry." The orange haired girl told the two other girls
"But I don't have a broom, and it's not like I could ride one anyway." Akko gloomily replied with her eyes aimed at the ground
"Oh, well, I should get going now."
Even more whimpers escaped from the gloomy Akko, making the new orange haired girl feel guilty
"Need a ride?" She asked softly as she glanced at Akko and (Name).
"I've never had passengers before but it shouldn't be too difficult." Akko looked suprised, a gasp escaping from her only to be covered up by (Name)'s outburst.
"I found it!!" The sudden shout grabbed both the orange haired girls attention and Akko's.
The (h/c) haired girl began to slide out the start of what looked like a wooden stem from her regular sized bag, however it soon progressed.
As she kept pulling, it began to get longer and longer, making the other two girls gasp.
"I found my broom!" (Name) happily announced while she pulled the rest of her broom out of her bag that looked like it couldn't at all fit a broom that size.
"H-how'd you do that?!" Akko asked in a shocked manner before continuing without letting the girl reply
"Wait, why didn't you tell me you had a broom sooner?!" Akko asked with a whine.
(Name) smiled as she dusted off her broom "Well, you never asked and I kinda forgot." She said with a little nervous laugh.
Akko furrowed her eyebrows before she let out a little laugh alongside you, the orange haired girl giggling a bit at the two.
"Oh yeah! I'm Atsuko Kagari, but you can call me Akko!" She cheerily said before letting the other girl introduce herself
"I'm (Name)." The girl with the broom said gently alongside a kind smile.
The orange haired girl was a bit nervous from Akko's energetic behavior but smiled back with a nod "My name's Lotte." She introduced herself
"We'll be late if we don't go now." She quickly added in
"Right, hop on Akko." (Name) told her as she slid onto her broom, patting the backseat as a motion for Akko to sit there and get her stuff
"Ready for takeoff?" Lotte asked as she glanced at (Name) and Akko, who both nodded
"Now then, let's take flight." She commented before reciting the magic words
"Tia Freyre." Both (Name) and Lotte said aloud, shiny blobs of bright green circling around the back parts of both their brooms.
The broom began to lift itself up into the air, the owner being the one to command it's way of direction.
Akko trembled a bit as she held onto the girl in front of her quite tightly
"Aah! No way, it's flying, it's actually flying!" Her excited yet scared words were quickly interrupted by the broom dropping down a bit, quickly flying back up.
"We might be a little too heavy ." (Name) commented "But it's fine." She reassured the other two who nodded
"Open! Reveal the path to us!"
