Chapter 10

Chuchi felt the satisfying crack of a leaf beneath his shoes as he walked through the garden, it was late at night, considerably cold outside but due to his body's composition he could barely feel it, the serene sound of Kanato singing from the balcony made him feel at peace. Then again Kanato's singing has always made him feel that way.

The days when the abuse was far to much Kanato would sing to him, and the days when Kanato's throat bled from his mothers force of over-usage he'd comfort him and sing for him as well.

He sighed as he stood from below and listened, the elder male sitting on the ledge, hands held tightly around his teddy, mouth open causing his voice to echo. Till abruptly he stopped. Chuchi looked up wondering what hindered him so, till he saw a flash of Platinum blonde hair atop of the ledge.

"That was you, Kanato-Kun?"

"Oh..Yui-San...it's a nice night isn't it?" he said quietly a small smile on his face as he spoke, he turned back to look up at the full moon, it was dark out, yet the moon shined as if it were illuminating from his lilac hair.

"Why are you sitting there? I-it's dangerous" She questioned softly, obviously she was worried, but the way her body shivered Chuchi could tell she was frightened by his elder sibling. 'Ahh...how cute' Chuchi looked at her frightened expression she truly looked like a scared bunny.

Kanato looked down at Chuchi, his smile nearly dropping from his face at the expression Chuchi showed.

"I'll be fine" he quietly muttered out his feet kicking childishly as if he weren't sitting on a ledge that he could easily fall from.

"C-come on its really dangerous"

Chuchi huffed before suddenly showing up beside Kanato, Yui flinching at his sudden appearance. He smiled at her.

"You wear an expression of anxiety mingled with fear" Kanato said softly as if his younger siblings appearance didn't effect him

"Mm, it's very Cute" Chuchi flushed as he spoke putting some truthfulness into his words.

Kanato stared at Chuchi the younger vampire knowingly causing his sibling to glare in obvious jelousy. Kanato stayed quiet for only a minute before a small glint went up in his eyes.

"Well......i actually hate it when you make that face...it makes me worry why you're so afraid of us"

"I...I'm not right now...I'm only afraid that you're going to fall"

Chuchi's eyes widened at her bold declaration. Kanato give a soft giggle at her words, he looked at her from the edge and smiled.

"You really don't have a clue..how conceited that makes you"

Chuchi stared at the back of Yui's head, hands held behind his back, no one truly worries of his siblings unless it were him, it caused a slight blight of annoyance to build up in his chest at Yui's concern.

"You're incredibly foolish" Chuchi muttered out bitterly

"Though oddly enough..." Kanato started as he looked up at Yui's ruby eyes and smiled a little bit "it makes you cute"

Chuchi stared at Kanato. And for awhile they sat in silence, he was trying to indicate that he was upset before the girl started to speak again.

"Is it so wrong to worry?"

Chuchi looked away and pondered for a moment before he looked back at her, Kanato chose to stay quiet despite the conversation being about his wellbeing.

"Nii-Nii doesn't need anyone else to worry about him" he said sternly trying to protect what was his

".......Do you want to see me get down from here so badly?" Kanato asked suddenly, he looked at Yui calmly his face smiling but his expression hallow.
