Chuchi quietly ate food amongst his siblings, it was two nights after his ...fight? With Kanato, the purple haired vampire avoided him for days after he spoke with Reiji and Ayato.
It was confusing cause not once in their decades of living together has he ever darted out of the hall way and ran away to the garden when he saw Chuchi on the other side of the room, nor had he ever ignored him when he called out to him, it caused the youngest of the vampires to feel hurt and afflicted, why wouldn't that stubborn man apologize despite being in the wrong?! Chuchi didn't like that feeling at all.
It was unusually quiet, Laito quietly eating rather than talking up a storm, he didn't even try flirting with Yui to get a rise out of Chuchi; it was obvious why. He could tell the atmosphere was tense.
Reiji and Ayato seemed relatively calm though, it seems they think Chuchi's favoritism of Kanato became low due to their mishap. Chuchi felt stifled in the dinning area, his mood simply souring when the sound of glass tinked against the dinning table. It was due to the fact that Yui spilled some water while trying to get a napkin.
"I-I'm sorry!"
"....." it went quiet as Yui vehemently apologized at her irritating display of meekness.
"...I guess someone does lack table manners" Chuchi finally said voice eerily cold. Blue eyes Grim as he laid them upon Yui's frame.
No one spoke causing the air to go ridged, Kanato was awkwardly darting his eyes from Chuchi to Yui, his Teddy's soft texture not even able to comfort him. Yui's eyes spiraled in fear as she looked up at Chuchi.
"I..I'm sor-"
"Apologizing again? Stop apologizing, all you do is apologize whenever something happens thinking that it'll make up for all of your short comings well it doesn't, it makes you look like a suck up" Chuchi scolded heatedly, his tone never once rising. Making it hard for Yui to understand if he were truly putting her in her place or honestly scolding her.
He looked around the table, noticing all of his brothers watching him awkwardly before he sighed realizing he further ruined the already soured mood.
Shu looked at him from his right side he knew what he was about to try would be futile because the only one who can even remotely calm him down was currently cowering behind his Teddy. He raised a hand to touch the light blue eyed vampire's face, trying to appease him in some way, the other siblings watching in hopeful baited breaths.
"Ch-"
"Ha?" He grumbled out
He glared at Shu causing him to stop moving his hand and discarded the thought, leaving his hands to lay at his side again. With a loud clink, Chuchi dropped his utensils on the table, all of his siblings refusing to make eye contact, it made him feel truly alone, god he felt like crying, he stood up his white ruffled shirt waving freely in the air as he looked down not wanting to even try looking his siblings in the face anymore, knowing they wouldn't meet his gaze.
"I'm done eating" he hissed out, he picked up a napkin and wiped his mouth before throwing the soiled linen on the table, his shoes thumping against the rugged flooring as he slammed into the door it opened with a creak and intentionally closed with a loud slam.
The six elder brothers sat there and waited till they didn't hear his foot steps anymore before they all let out a sigh of relief.
".....So who's going to say it?" Reiji asked quietly, elbows leaning against the mahogany table, as they all sat in silence. Yui looked at him in confusion before suddenly Ayato jumped out of his seat beside her, spooking the girl in the process as he pointed an accusing finger at Kanato.
