nessas POV
i wake up in jadens arm i look at jaden who was sleeping i smile.

i try sitting up jaden tightens his grip "no getting up yet" jaden says "but i need to finish my vows" i say.

"please" jaden begs me "read over yours so you remember them" i say.

jaden sighs and grabs the paper his vows were written on and rips it and than rips mine.

"jaden!" i say "speak from the heart" jaden says why it's not like he proposed to me.

but now it does have to come from the heart jaden gets up and gets dressed and walks out of the room.

i look at the ripped vows sab comes in "hey" sab says "hey" i say smiling.

sab looks at me "so how about you and jaden?" she asks i blush.

"admit it you're in love with him" sab says i shake my head sab gets frustrated.

"nessa why can't you be less stubborn,mads would have" she stops herself before she can hurt me.

but i was already hurt the color in my face fades sab looks at me with a sorry look.

mads lewis i remember her sabs old best friend jadens ex girlfriend.

"can you leave please" i say sab nods and leaves i just  cry into a pillow.

sab didn't want me as her best friend she wanted mads and i didn't blame her.

i'm not like every princess i used to be i would wear a light blue dress everyday and me hair was brunette.

i know sab was sorry but i am not meant for the princess life sab,mads and all of my other friends were.

i get up and put on normal clothes jeans and a black crop top i brush my long raven hair and exit to castle.

i walk until i couldn't walk anymore i found myself at a old coffee shop i used to run go to clear my head.

"i haven't seen you here since you were 15" a familiar voice says i turn around and it's mads.

"oh mads hi" i say mads greets me with a big hug "how have you been" i ask her.

"good i'm engaged actually" she says smiling "so what brings you back here" she asks.

i tell her what sab said and how i felt mads was shock "but my best friend is addison" she says.

"plus the royal life was not for me it's hard having the world look at you like you're not a person" she says.

i nod drinking my coffee "all cause i wouldn't admit i like jaden" i say mads face looks shocked but happy.

"how did you and jaden become so close last time i saw you two you gave him death looks" mads says.

"so why did you break up with jaden" i asked looking at my empty coffee cup.

"i loved jaden i really did but something wasn't right.i wasn't meant for the famous life the royal life.
when i broke up with jaden he begged me to stay saying i could hide in the castle all the time but i wanted to work i wanted a life full of work but that was when i was 14" she says.

when i was 14 i had just dyed my hair black.i hear the bell ring at the door jaden was here he was looking for me.

mads looked at jaden "oh hey jaden i was just talking to" jaden cuts me off by slowly bringing me to his side.

he looked at mads "jaden" mads says softly "what mads" sab says angrily.

"jaden you love nessa and nessa loves you please let what happened 5 years ago go" she says gently.

"jaden" i whisper jaden looks at me "please forgive her i will do anything you want if you do" i say.

jaden nods "fine mads" jaden says "oh and nessa am i invited to the wedding if not i completely understand why" mads says

"sure mads" i say smiling "bye mads" jaden says "bye" mads says me and jaden leave.

"why did you leave the castle without anyone or telling anyone" jaden asks looking at me.

i just stay silent we get to the castle me and jaden go into me and his room.

jaden looks at me i look back "so you and mads are friends now?" jaden asks.

i nod jaden looked at me and scoffed "what?i can't be friends with your ex cause you're on bad terms" i say.

"you never liked mads either" jadens says "she changed jaden when i told her we were getting married she was happy for us" i say.

jaden looks shocked "she told me why you guys broke up she never wanted a royal life jaden" i say.

jaden nods "put on pajamas and go to bed we're getting married tomorrow" jaden says i nod.

i put on my pajamas i yawn today was tiring and also exhausting i knew sab would apologize tomorrow hopefully.

sabs POV
after what happened with nessa i felt bad when jaden was looking for nessa i had no clue.

"there was this coffee shop she used to go to she would leave her problems out of there and would have coffee there" cooper said.

now it's 10am and everyone is asleep i look at myself in the mirror and cry cooper wakes up and knocks on the bathroom door.

"hey babe what's wrong" he says coming into the bathroom.

i sniffle "i mentioned mads to nessa and i hurt her feelings and now i'm gonna lose her" i say.

"look you get nessa more than i do or my parents she would never drop you tomorrow is the wedding apologize tomorrow"cooper says kissing me i nod and smile.

cooper picks me up and carries me to bed we cuddle until i drift off to sleep.

nessas POV
i finally lay down as jaden cuddles me as if i was something important to him when he was a kid.

i hum as me and jaden look at eachother not saying anything just looking at eachother.

i was in love with jaden and i was afraid i thought about what jaden said and i was gonna say what felt in the moment.

i drift off to sleep as jaden whispers something to me.
