4. Breakdown

"I want to be captain I want my old job back" Maya said to Robert "i think we can help each other you can help me win over chief and get me to captain and I'll make sure no one finds out about your little secret"

Robert replies "I'll think about it"

As he walks back inside towards the barn.
The team are all waiting
"Final decided to join us Lieutenants" Ross speaks towards Maya and robert
"Yes sorry chief" maya respond
"Line up" Ross speaks harshly

"You did good today but 23 are getting better by the day you are meant to be the top dogs but it doesn't look like it from here... I expect better and when I see better I'll decide about promotions" Ross speaks

A silence is heard in the barn
"Your shift is over B shift is here to take over"

They all go to there lockers and get there things
"Anyone fancy a drink a joes?" Travis asks
"I'm down" Vic replies
"Me too" Jack respond
"Yep" Robert says in response
"Sure carina is on lates tonight" Maya speaks 
"Is that invite for everyone?" Chief Ross replies
Travis swallows the lump in his throat
"Umm yeah" he responds
"Great I'll see you there then" Ross responds with a smile and walks a way

"Travis?!" Vic shouts
"What I don't know what to say she a little scary" Travis replies as the walk out the doors to head to the bar

At Station 23

"You did good today 23" Andy says
"Well that's thanks to our acting captain" Maddox responds

"I was thinking we could go to joes bar for celebration" Andy asked
"Oh well you see I'm busy" Barnes replies as he walks out the station
"I have this thing on with umm with ... Domenick" Maddox says
"We do?" Domenick says which results in Maddox punching his arm "oh yah we do that's today I thought it was Tomorrow" domenick says as they walk out the station

"Sorry Andy I've got plans  I'm making a surprise for Vic" theo says
"Okay that's fine" andys says with sadness in her voice "Deja what about you?"

"Umm I'm not really in the mood it's been a long shift Andy" Deja responds walking away
"Okay yeah sure... some other time maybe " andys responds with a sigh

Andy walks to her locker to grab her things and walks to joes bar by her self

Andy walks in to the bar and sat on the stool and orders a beer and a shot of vodka

She takes the shot of vodka and starts to drink her beer when she hears a group of laughter as she see Station 19 walk in and sit at a table and looks down at her empty shot glass as she orders another one.

"So do you do this often?" Ross asked
"As much as we can" Travis spoke
"we like to do shots and drown our sorrows in beers" Vic replied
"I'll get the first round then" Ross says as she walks to the bar
"If she's gonna get us rounds she can come more often" Vic says jokingly to Travis
"She still our boss though" Robert says
"Oo has someone got a crush" Vic says giggling into Travis as they both start laughing

Maya keeps her face straight and says nothing
"Drinks all around" Ross says as she brings them over
"Thaank chief" Maya says
"Just call me tash while we aren't at work"
"Okay to tash for her first drinks with them team" Maya says as they all cheers

Meanwhile Andy has had 4 shots and 2 beers  while listening to her old team have fun and not even notice her.

2 hours later

"Right I better be off" Robert said as he see they've been there a while.
"It is getting late Vic and I will probably leave in a bit too" Travis says
"Tash wanna stay for one more ?" Maya asks
"No I better not you guys deserve fun without your boss around" tash replies

Ross and Robert leave together

"So is this where you invite me home" tash asks in a giggle
"Would you like to come back with me?" Robert asks
"I would love to" tash replies as they walk to roberts

Back at the bar Vic Travis and Maya are all talking
"Hey is that Andy over there?"  Vic asks
"Yeah it is how long has she been sat there?" Travis replies
"Now I feel guilty" Maya responds as Andy grabs her bag and storms past them.
"She seems upset" Vic says
"And angry" Maya adds
"Defiantly angry" Travis confirms

Andy starts to walk back to her place when she finds herself walking towards Roberts
"What am I doing? Why am I walking toward him?" Andy thinks to herself before she knows it she at his door getting ready to knock

*Andy reachers up and knocks on the door*

She stood in silence waiting for Robert to answer the door
As the door opens Andy begins to speak
"Robert I don't know how but I..." she stops speaking as she see Natasha stood at the door in his crew neck and boxers
"Oh I'm so sorry I I should go" Andy says
"Andy" Ross says
"It's fine sorry" Andy response as she speed walks a way with tears coming down her face.

With Robert and tash

"Who was that?" Robert asks as he wraps his arms around tashs waist kissing her neck
"It was Andy." Tash replies
"Oh what did she want?" Roberts asks
"I don't know but she seemed upset?" Ross said
"I don't know why she came here she signed the divorce papers and stopped speaking to me" Robert said
"Anyway where were we?" Robert responded as he pushed tash against the door.
Causing tash to let out a giggle

Andy ends up bumping into Beckett on her way back to her place
"Sorry I sorry" she says as she walks into him
"You okay Andy?  Do you wanna talk?" He asks

Andy and Beckett end up sitting on the top of the building at 19
"I just feel so alone I lost my best friend my dad  my family my station" Andy says while crying
"I lost my husband and he's already seeing tash"
"He told you?" Beckett asks
"No I went to his house to see if he wanted to sort things out but she opened the door wearing his crew top and boxers" Andy gets out
"Oh Andy I'm so sorry" Beckett pulls her into a hug
They sat in silence for a little before Andy spoke up.
"It's me isn't it?" Andy asked
"You what?"beckett responds
"I'm the problem I'm the reason everyone leaves and I'm all alone"
"I've not left" Beckett responds
"First with my mum my whole life I thought she was dead just to find out she didn't want me and I messed up her career.." Andy speaks
"Andy.." Beckett try's to speak but Andy quickly interrupts him
"And then with Maya she jumped my ex and then got the captain job 5 minutes after becoming a Lieutenant. All because 2 men said I couldn't do the job that I wasn't mentally ready.. and then Ryan  my best friend my everything gets shot." Andy looks back at Beckett
"Andy I'm so sorry" Beckett said holding her hand
"That bullet was meant to hit me that should have been me not him but he jumped in front of me and I had to watch my best friend die.. and then my dad died trying to save the team and I was all alone" Andy speaks up
They sit in a comfortable silence until Andy speaks up
"I was pregnant" andy says
"When? With who?" Beckett asked

"With Robert before Maya and carina wedding.. after the wedding I needed up having a miscarriage and that why I stopped talking to him I couldn't bare to look at him knowing I lost his baby  and it just led on from there I felt so alone and then getting moved stations too.. I took all my anger out on him and now I have no one and he's happy again"

"You always have me" Beckett said
As Andy gives him a werid look
"Not in that ways as a friend  I'm not a bad guy you know and any way I couldn't date you even if I wanted" Beckett says
"Why is that? Am I not god enough for you?" Andy jokes
"I've got a new woman on the scene" Beckett says
"I just wanna be happy again". Andy says
"Do you ever wish you could go back in time and change thing?" Andy asks
"All the time but that's not possible. Now come on I'll walk you home it's getting late" Beckett says
"Thank you" andy responds
