5. Another universe

AN - set in a different world where Ripley is still alive and Surrera are still happily married

At the Surrera house old

"morning Andy time to get up" Robert spoke to his wife softly 

"5 more minutes" and said as she rolled away from him 

"Andy in 2 minutes you will be very rudely awakened by.." before Robert could finish 2 little children ran into the room and their oldest climbed onto the bed and jumped up and down

"mummy daddy wakey wakey" their 5 year old son Lucas said as Andy sat up and picked their little girl up who was struggling to climb onto the bed.

"good morning baby" Andy said as she kissed her little girls head. 

"How would you two like it if you joined mummy and daddy at work today?" Robert asked and received two nods back form their little babies

"well if you want to join us you better get dressed and teeth brushed." Andy spoke and with that their two little ones ran off to get dressed

"So take your kids to work day?" Andy said while staring at Robert

"Well with you on desk duty during calls  today I thought it would be a good idea" Robert replied giving is wife a kiss

"mama Dada help stuck!" Their two year old daughter shouted from her bedroom across from them. " ill go help her while you get their toothbrushes ready" Andy replied getting up and rapping her dressing gown round her as she walked across to her little girl.

"Estella Claire Sullivan you need to put your head through the bigger hole" Andy said with a giggle and sorting her daughters top out and pulling her trousers up properly.

Once Estella was dressed and hair was done Andy took her to her and Roberts Ensuite to brush her teeth                                                                                                                                                                           "Now daddys going to brush your teeth and mummy is going to get dressed and sort you some breakfast out." Andy said as she passed Estella over to Robert

As Robert helped brush Lucas and Estellas teeth Andy got dressed into her uniform and went downstairs to make breakfast  which consisted of honey hoops and fruit. A few minutes later Lucas, Estella and Robert came through the door and got ready to eat their breakfasts. Estella and Lucas climbed into their seats and began to eat as Robert wrapped his arms around Andys waist and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"we have to leave as soon as they have eaten why did you let me sleep in?" Andy said  " Well i did wake you up and you went .. 5 more minutes " he said as he mimicked her sleep voice resulting in him getting a slap from Andy.

after they had all eaten their breakfast they put their dishes into the dishwasher and got ready to leave

"Coats and shoes on and then wait at the door for us" Robert said  Estella and Lucas ran to put their shoes and coats on and waited at the door holding their bags which had their favorite coloring book and lunch box in for  the day. Estella also had her favorite blanket in her bag and her favorite teddy in her other hand.

Andy lifted Estella up into her car seat and helped Lucas put his seatbelt on and then they were on the road.

At the station

As they pulled into the station Lucas looked out the windows and saw his friend " Mummy daddy look its tommy!" Lucas shouted as he saw his friend 

"did you know Ripley and Vic were bringing their child today?" Andy asked staring Robert Down. "Okay maybe I did and maybe he isn't the only other child" Robert responded  

"Robert have you like set me up on children watch or something?" Andy responded  "Nope you and Hughes are on child care today" He Laughed as they got out the car and walked into the station.

"Morning 19" Robert shouted as he walked in "Today we have some special guest so you better be on our best behavior"                                                                                                                                                    They all looked up in a panic  until they saw the 3 little people run around the corner chasing each other.

"Umm Estella Lucas and tommy are you not going to come say hello to your aunts and uncles?" Travis shouted and with that the 3 off them ran at Travis and dog piled on top of them.

"Hey Estella shall I ask if Pru will come after school?" Ben asked and Estella nodded her head  

"So anyone else child being baby sat by Vic and I today?" Andy asked in a sarcastic voice.

*Sound system; Ladder Engine and aid car 19 a fire emergency at 234 Main street *

"Lets go 19!" Robert shouted to his team.                                                                                                                      "Come on babies lets go through here and let the team get on with their work" Vic instructed taking the 3 little people through to the reception area. the 3 little ones sat on a chair and started playing with their toys and coloring in as any answered the incoming calls. Vic brought a coffee through for Andy and they began to chat. "So any more babies on the way?" Vic asked  "no god no two is enough for me" Andy said  They both giggled

"I think I would want a second but i'm not always sure I keep changing my mind" Vic said

"Well you can always look after one of mine for a day to see what its like to have two little monkeys" Andy said.

"I like the Sex.   Ripley in bed is just amazing its like an out of body experience" Vic spoke                 "Right?" Andy said looking at Vic                                                                                                                                  " I just don't want things to change or have to wait months after again to start having hot a steamy sex" Vic said                                                                                                                                                               "Well if it helps Robert and I still have hot and steamy sex.. Very hot" Andy replied                                "You know I do miss being pregnant sometimes I miss the bond you create and the feeling of it all" Andy added "But being pregnant means missing out on all the action of 5 alarms and saving people"

After half an hour of them talking Estella started to get tired and fidgety "IS someone tired?" Andy asked Estella and she picked her up and carried her into Roberts office to put her to sleep in the  bunk. 

after 2 hours the whole team had returned 

"Dinner is ready!" Maya shouted to everyone and they all went through to  the kitchen to eat. The whole team sat around and ate diner and laughing at the stories tommy and Lucas.

Andy and Robert looked into each others eyes and spoke softly " I love you" Andy said first            "I love you more" Robert replied kissing her lips

Before they knew it they were back at home snuggled in bed with Lucas and Estella in between them.
