Chapter 5: New Life and Friends

Olivias POV

I woke up In a soft bed, not like the previous one I had In Norman and Elizas house..It felt comforting but due to the fact my legs and every part of my body is in pain it's also discomforting

I hear footsteps and a knock at the door, I weakly say "Come in" and then In walks Natasha and Maria. Maria looks down at the floor and I know her and Natasha feel guilty for what went down last night. I remember being held by Maria and Natasha, and sooner or later Officer Jess gave me her number to call whenever I would need her. I then fell asleep In Natashas arms as we walked out of the home..

I look up and hear Natasha speak "We spoke with the paramedics last night, and they recommended to have the doctor look at any bruises or scars you may have that maybe have been caused by Norman or Eliza" I nodded and quietly asked

"Am I going into an orphanage?.."
Natasha looked like she had just saw a ghost, Maria looked stunned to say the least.
"Absolutely not, you're never going into a hell hole like that...plus I think Fanny likes you too much to even let you step out of the front door" Natasha said sternly but also chuckled the last part about Fanny.

"So you're actually keeping me?" I said still confused about the situation

"Yes detka, you're forever ours" Natasha smiled saying It
I smiled at the thought of finally being free enough to think my own thoughts. Maria comes up and Kisses my forehead and tells me "We are here whenever you need us, and if you are ever in trouble you have the Avengers and all of S.H.I.E.L.D to help kid"

I grin at the thought of a whole army of people helping me and I chuckle and say "Thank you for saving me..both of you" Natasha pats my head and Maria fist bumps me and then head out of the room.

About 2 minutes later Fanny comes in and sits next to the bed, I pet her and she enjoys it. She slowly comes up onto the bed and cuddles into my side. I end up closing my eyes and slowly fall asleep to the soft breaths of Fannys head in the crook of my neck.

About 2 hours later I wake up to a knock on the door, I say "Come in" and In walks Natasha. She tells me It's almost time to head to the doctors, but she explains that the doctor is a friend of hers..Doctor Banner. I nod and she helps me get out of the bed, she then hands me some clothes and leaves me to change taking Fanny along with her with a long whistle calling her.

I then finish getting dressed and slowly walk out of the room..I see Maria and Natasha talking until Fanny comes up and rubs her head against my arm as I pet her. Natasha then takes my hand and helps me down the stairs as Maria opens the front door and locks up the apartment.

We drive until we see a large building..a tower. We walk in and immediately I see two men standing in a very large living area..Steve Rodgers and Tony Stark

Natasha gives them a wave and insults Mr. Rodgers outfit and then Maria pats my head and walks elsewhere to the tower saying she will be back later to check in on myself and Natasha. Natasha then introduces me to the pair..

"Steve, Tony this is Olivia..Olivia this is Tony and Steve also known as the two idiots who ate all of the peanut butter sandwiches I made for myself and myself only" I scoffed and said "You in charge of the boys? Slightly surprises me Mrs. Romanoff" She looked at me with a playfully offended look and simply says "Fine...If you don't think I'm capable I will simply steal Fanny all to myself then little lady"

I gasp and quickly say "You will never steal Fanny from me, she may be your sisters dog but she is fully mine now" I say proudly and Natasha smirks and Tony says "I like this little punk, I think we will get along just fine kid" as he high fives me

Steve comes over and says "Welcome to the family kid" and Fist bumps me

Natasha then leads me to a lab where we see a man with slight gray hair and Natasha then says "Hey Banner, this is Olivia the young lady I was talking to you about earlier" Banner comes up and shakes my hand and says "Hi Olivia, would you mind if I take a look at the bruises caused by the event that occurred?" I nod and Natasha squeezes my hand out of comfort

I show Dr.Banner the bruises and scars caused by Norman and Eliza, he then assess the damage done and gives me some treatment for it, he then suggested we draw some blood to make sure nothing else was wrong with me

I quickly panicked at the thought of needles and started to shake and slowly my breath gets heavier and heavier..Natasha quickly has me sit on the ground and makes me match her breathing pattern she shows with her own breathing..I soon calm down and hesitantly agree with the blood withdrawal.

Dr.Banner comes over with a small needle and Natasha holds my hand in reassurance that I would be okay..

Banner quickly gets the blood drawn and says that there is nothing further he needs to assess and gives me a thumbs up and a high five as we leave the lab, Tony comes up and invites me to hang out at the tower..I look at Natasha and she just says "You're free for your own decisions malyshka" and I accept Tonys offer and he guides me into the common area where I then see two other people

Wanda Maximoff and Carol Danvers

Wanda and Carol Introduce themselves and I introduce myself aswell..we hang out for hours and I find Wanda and I have much In common, we love cooking. Carol and I love pets, she says she has a cat named Goose who famously Scratched Nick Furys eye out causing him to have an eyepatch..I chuckle and we have loads of fun playing board games and such

I am finally free enough to make my own friends and can put trust in them..
