"in between" chapter 2 prt2

We were having a break after the crossbar challenge so I was sitting with my bag next to me and phone playing game and with my back to a goal post bopping my head with the music from my headphones and a water bottle in between my legs its was getting close to the end of one my songs when I heard foot stapes coming towards me I stop playing my game and playlist from Spotify and take a bud out of my ear and I look up and see manu zinsberger.

"Hello," I say and wave to her as she wakes over and sits next to me cross-legged in front of me "hello" she replies I go hand her a water bottle but she shakes her head as a "no thanks" and I put it back in my bag "what up manu," I say looking away from my bag and look at the Austrian shyly as she says " you don't have to be shy I'm not going interrogate you" as she pulls me in for a hug " but I was wondering where are your parents you look young," she says as she looks around "um," I say trying not to look nervous " there at work," I say lying to her hoping she will buy it she hm's trying to see if it was a lie or not.

"Okay," she says suspiciously "where are you from I hear an accent but can't put my finger on it" as she put her finger on top of my head making me chuckle a little I think a little bit if I should tell her or not but I say "I'm from Estonia" with a small smile as I drink from the water bottle I have as she says jokingly "that better be water in that" with a raised eyebrow I look at her with a mischievous glint in my eye as I say " yeah its vodka" she gaps and snatches the bottle away from me I just laugh as she moves the bottle further away from me and chatting some people attention.

As I am still laughing and manu trying to get me to come clean about what is in the bottle Lydia Williams comes over and asks with an Aussie accent" manu what did you do " with a hand on her hip manu look up and looks offended and says " nothing I'm trying to stop ana drinking this " and show her the water bottle and Lydia looks at the bottle confused "its water manu" she said look at manu and then manu points at me and says " ana said she was drinking vodka from it" when say finishes her sentence I laugh harder and holding my stomach from laugh too much.

when I stop laughing and look at the pair and say "it's not vodka manu I was just playing with you" whiles trying to stop myself from laughing again but I fail to stop myself from laughing again as manu start to tickle me and Lydia trying to stop her after a few seconds of tickling from manu.

Lydia put out her hand to me to grab and pull me up "thank you" I say as now I'm on my feet " how tall are you" manu shouts as see how tall I am when standing up I just shrug as I walk to my bag to get my hairbrush as I take out my hairband and brush my hair out and try to put it in dutch braids as I'm having trouble doing the braid I ask Lydia " can you help with my braids please"looking at her she nods her head I hand her the one hairband as she sits down with me between her legs as she says " what position do you play " as she starts with the left braid " I play at center back and center defensive midfielder "I reply with a happy smile that she can't see " then how do you know how to play goalie so good " Lydia says confused I shrug again "I used to play goalie for my isa"(father) I say to her after she finishes the braids.

but before she asks a question kohn shouts out "It's time to the second half guys and girls" I say thank you to Lydia and move my bag to where the other bag is are and stand to the side of the goal for the penalty shoot out.
