Who Are You (Lauren)

CH. 4 Showtime

Carson's shoes for this performance. This might be long cause I'm putting all the lyrics to a couple of Carson's songs in this chapter, along with the story events. Enjoy!

Lauren PoV
I wake up to an empty bed and Carson dressed in sweats, shaking me gently. "Hey there green. It's time to get ready." She says to me softly, then brushes back my hair to leave me a gentle kiss on the head. All of the sudden memories shoot back from last night when I agreed to be her girlfriend. Instead of regretting it or something, I'm genuinely ecstatic.

I get up and get ready to head out and meet the girls. Carson puts an arm around my shoulder after we are out of the room then quickly removes it. When I go to give her a puzzled look I remember that we are meant to be a secret.

"Car, I promise I'll the girls." I stop us and look into her eyes. "Okay. I don't really mind, as long as I get to spend time with you." She responds and kisses my forehead. I smile up at her and we keep moving to find all the girls outside waiting. We all exchange hugs and get on our busses, Carson's pulling off ahead of ours.

"Hey um, girls I have something to tell you." I say hesitantly. My best friends all stopped what they where doing to give me their undivided attention. I take a deep breath and just come out with it, "Carson and I are a couple."

"Larson is real!!" Dinah screamed. "Aw you guys are so cute together." Ally, Camz, and Mani said in unison, looked at each other and laughed. "We're keeping it quiet for now though." I told them. They all looked puzzled. "Carson wants to keep you a secret?" Camz asked me with cunfusion. "No, it was my idea. She said she doesn't mind as long as she gets to be with me." I say smiling at the memory.

"Girl, I hate to burst your bubble but she don't want that. Carson is an affectionate partner. She doesn't care who sees her with her girl, you know?" Dinah chimed in. "Yeah Lo, she won't be able to put up with out forever. Plus, you already came out as bisexual to the Harmonizers, what's the big deal." Ally added.

"Well, I'm scared. Besides Brad I've never been with someone who's so popular. Brad turned out to be a jerk and Carson us 12 times more popular than all of us." I didn't even know I felt this way. My mind just have me new information about myself.

"Laur, I'm sure Carson is different." Normani said with a pat on the back. The bus pulled over and we our fans behind barracades. I see Carson get out of her bus and smile and wave at them. We followed suit and exited the bus, we signed autographs and took selfies when all of the sudden someone tapped us and Carson on the shoulders. Um there is a little girl in the middle of the crowd who really wants to meet you guys.

"How old?" Carson asks. "She looks to be about 5." The stranger responded. Carson asked where and then got on top of the barracade and yelled out for a parent to hold the little girl up. The kid's mom put the girl on her shoulders and walked carefully through the parting crowd.

When the woman was in front of us she smiled and handed her daughter to Carson.

"Hey there. I'm Carson, what's your name?" Carson asked in a soft comforting voice. "Maya." The girl said quietly. Aw she's shy. "Well Maya, I hear you're a fan of me and my friends here. Do you want me to introduce you?" Car asks. Maya nods vigorously with her cute little head. We all went in a line giving introductions and holding her. We hung out with her until we absolutely had to go.

When we get into the building, to a private area with just the 6 of us, I grabbed Carson's hand and entwined our fingers. Carson looked down at our hands and then back up with a grin. She is so warm that I lean into her side and just hold her arm. "Baby, how are you so warm?" I ask her

Carson just chuckles and kisses the top of my head. "Babe, how are you so cute?" She replies softly. "Larson!" The girls shriek. Carson laughs and that has to be the best sound ever. She removes herself from me as we approach Ralph, Ryback, and a really pretty girl.
