It was already 4:00pm , school let out thirty minutes ago and here I am, Walking towards the Dunkin Donuts where I have been working for the last four months already. It wasn't an amazing job, but it was decent enough to pay for school supplies, clothing, and my phone bill. I walked in and smelt the strong aroma of bagels and sweet hot chocolate. Yum I thought to myself as I bent down and picked up a crumpled up napkin. I threw it away, wishing the school wasn't so close by. The students really loved throwing things on the ground just to make my work life harder than it really needed to be.
"Hello Mr.Blaze , I'm ready to start my 4:30 shift" I informed.
I didn't get a respond so I decided to sit down behind the counter and charge my phone for awhile. Right before I sat down I realized I had one miss call from my foster mom Linda. Ugh what does she want. Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate her concerns about my well being but hey, look at me. I don't do much besides study , work and attend a workshop right after work where i learn how to deal with my social anxiety and lack of interest with others. I decided I will text back to save the lecture I will hear later tonight if I weren't to reply. Within a minute she responded and told me to be home at a reasonable time , which to her was 12am and me 10:30pm. But hey, maybe today I'll do something different, something fun.It was now 4:29, time to clock in and get ready to toast bagels and sell overly priced small coffee.
