Meeting My Wolf

I woke up to the sound of leaves rustling. I stood up in an instant. I remembered what Amber had just warned me about, I was in danger and would also shift to my wolf form once they got too close to me. She didn't tell me what 'they' were so I was extremely nervous. I didn't know if it was wolves from another pack or vampires. With my luck I wouldn't be surprised if both of them came to attack me. I didn't know where to stash my bag and phone but that was the least of my worries when I noticed my spine cracking. I screamed in pain and fell to the ground. All my bones were breaking slowly and expanding. What's happening I thought hoping someone would answer me via mind link. Nobody answered me. I'm shifting. That was the only answer to this extremely dreadful pain I was experiencing. After a few seconds the pain had stopped. My bones felt stronger. I was now a wolf. I looked around, tiring to see if I could spot anyone. I couldn't see anything, but I smelt the strong smell of blood. I was scared. I didn't know how strong I was in my wolf form and I couldn't risk being killed. I had a pack to protect.

I looked down at my paws...they were huge. They were bigger then ambers. Amber was a pretty big wolf I can't imagine how big I was. My fur was black like the midnight sky. I felt my hairs on my neck prick up. They're here. I knew I needed to fight, but I didn't know how. I turned around and was face to face with a wolf bigger than me. He must be an alpha if he's this big. It growled at me and it caught me by surprised. I whimpered and back away slowly until Something inside of me was rising. Anger was boiling inside of me. My wolf was going to take over and I had no control of stopping it. The wolf was clearly growing inpatient because he snapped at my neck. Thankfully I was quick enough to move out of his way. I growled and let out a high pitched howl hoping it'll signal my pack members that their Luna was in danger. It was quiet. I guess they didn't recognize me. I frowned mentally but was quickly snapped out of it when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. He bit me! It was my fault for letting my guard down. I turned to Him and launched myself towards him. I was able to get his neck in between my jaws. I held my bite and refused to let go. I tasted his blood, it made my inner wolf howl with pleasure knowing I was killing the enemy.

I bit down hard and heard a crack. I'm sure he lost his air supply shortly after I locked my jaw on his neck. But i needed to make sure. I opened my jaw and his neck slid out. I looked the wolf in the eye and heard it whimper, I licked its nose then teared his head off. My wolf is viscous and strong. I knew being Luna was my destiny. A pain shot through my back paw and I soon realized another wolf has been here the whole time. How did I not notice the wolf standing here. I whimpered in pain, the pain was becoming too much. First my stomach and now my back paw. I saw blood pouring out of both wounds a little to quickly. The wolf looked at me and growled , I was sure it was going to kill me exactly how I killed its alpha. I closed my eyes waiting for the wolf to rip me apart. But It didn't. Instead , it slashed out on my already damaged stomach and made my wound much worse. The blood was pouring out five times faster and I knew I was going to bleed to death. With both open wounds pouring out blood and barely breathing because my ribs were broken the wolf left me there to die slowly and painfully. He wanted me to suffer and I was surely getting the treatment. I had barely any energy to keep my eyes open

"Amber...please h-help mme "I whimpered through mind link. With no respond I decided my final thing to do before I die was howl out to my pack. If they recognized me or not, I needed to try one last time. I let out a Loud high pitch howl and right after my howl in pain, darkness has taken over my cold bloody body.
