Chapter Six: Props & Mayhem

Jaime's POV

In two days, Pierce The Veil was going on Warped Tour. Since Star had slept at my house last night, Vic wanted me to tell her that everyone wants her to come with us. Mainly because Vic and Mike don't want her getting hurt while we were gone, and because this time, we will be gone for five months. She would go crazy for five months without her family. She'll also go crazy without Ice. There was six bunks on the bus so that she could come too, but she has school for the first month of tour. I walked from my room across the hall to the guest bedroom. Star had to stay last night because she had fainted from not eating. She stopped cutting and was four months clean, but she stopped eating and became anorexic. I was the only one that could manage to get her to eat anything. She started having panic attacks less because of her medicine, but she was constantly reminded about them. I felt bad for Star, I felt even worse that I felt like I couldn't save her and one day she'll take her life. I went to wake her up, but she wasn't there. "Star?" I asked. "I'm down stairs, I got up a hour ago." I heard her yell from the kitchen. Hopefully she was getting breakfast. I went downstairs to see that she was eating cereal. A look of disgust on her face. "Star I'm so proud of you for eating." I said as I hugged her. "Jaime I hate it. Can I please throw the rest out? I don't want to eat anymore." I looked at the bowl. A good portion of what was there is gone. "Of course estrella." She gets up, throws the rest of her cereal out, and puts the bowl in the sink. "Star guess what." I say, trying to make her happy. She shrugs and sits on the floor. "You're coming to Warped with us." I say, smiling like a fool. "Really?! Are you serious?! This is amazing!" She bounces off the floor and into my arms. "Let's go back to your house so you can get packed and we can try to get Ice to go."

We get to Vic and Mike's house and Walk towards the door. Star opens it and walks inside. Mike is on the couch playing Call Of Duty and Vic is telling him how much he hates the game because he hates guns. "Dude don't hate the game, Hate what's in the game." "Mikey that makes no sens- Star!" Vic runs over to her. "Hi Vicky. Hehe. I'm going to get packed." She bolts upstairs and Vic laughs. "Dude, Ice can't go. She's going to cry when she finds that out." I say to Vic. "Yeah, we should tell her calmly." Mike replies, pausing his game. "Well...Ice is really smart..maybe she could get into the accelerated program.." We turn around to a shy Star standing in the corner. "That's a great idea! Text her that." Mike says. "I already did after Jaime told me I'm going. Ice said that she was going to take the test today during her study period." "Great. If she can go, we have to have rules so that there isn't going to be mini Ice's or mini Star's running around soon." I say. "Jaime! We're both girls, that can't happen! I also wont fuck her because that shit is gross." Star says as she starts blushing. "You talk to Dahvie Vanity like everyday, and you're still some what innocent. Logic." Mike says as Star walks back upstairs to finish packing.

Star's POV

I was awoken by my ring tone blasting in my ear. Why did I have to set it to Diamonds Aren't Forever? I answered my phone with a groggy "Hello?" "BABE, GUESS WHAT!" "What princess?" "I PASSED THE TEST! I CAN GO ON WARPED!" "That's amazing baby! I'm going back to sleep, you get packed and bring your stuff over here. We leave tomorrow. I love you." I hear a "I love you too." and the line go dead. I fall asleep just to be awaken thirty minutes later by a very,very hyper Tony Perry. "Star wake up. Wake up. WAKE UP." I look over at him and roll out of bed. "Yes turtle?" "Hi." He then runs out of my room and down the hall to the stairs. I run after him and we both end up falling down the stairs. I start laughing and my stomach rumbles. "Star..please eat something.." I hear Jaime say. I get up, walk to the kitchen and eat some left over lettuce from last nights taco party. "Thank you.." I walk over to the couch and turn on the Tv. I was about to sit down when Ice knocks on the door. "I've got it!" I yell as I walk over to the door. "Hey ba- bro..." Her grandfather, who is extremely homophobic, is right behind her. "Hi Star..I brought my stuff." I nod and let her in, taking her luggage and putting it next to everyone else's. "Bye Icelyn. I will see you in nine months. Behave, if you need me you have your mother's and my numbers." Her grandfather says as he leaves. I close the door and kiss Ice. "Yeah Icelyn, behave on tour." I say as I walk over to the music room to tell Vic and Jaime that Ice is here. I walk back out and sit on her lap. "Ship! Starlyn." I hear Tony scream.I just shake my head and pull out my phone. "Holy shit, it's 3:45?" I ask in disbelief. "Yep, We let you sleep because you wont sleep too well on the bus." Jaime says, to me but it looks as if it was a general statement. "Then, I need to go to sleep in a hour in order to wake up early enough and not be tired. That's not fair." I say, crossing my arms. Ice laughs and I make a pout face. "Have fun sleeping Star." I hear Mike say from the music room. I better go to bed soon or I wont wake up for the bus.

Tony's POV

It was 4:30 and Star still wasn't up. I was given the task of waking her up, but she looked so peaceful asleep. "Star...Star, sweetie, wake up." I say, nudging her. "Huh? What time is it?" She asks ask she rolls over on her back. "4:30. Wake up." She rolls out of bed and her shirt slides up a little. I could see and count all of her ribs. I hope Jaime can get her back to eating normally. "Tony, what time does the bus come?" She asks, trying to control her bed head. "5:30. You have a hour but I wanted to give you time to get ready and maybe eat something?" She looked at me as if I was crazy. "Tony..I don't want to eat. I'm not hungry." How could she not be hungry? I could see all of her ribs. "Tony, don't worry about me okay? We all know that Jaime is going to make me eat. I'll be okay." I just nodded and walked downstairs to wake up Ice. However, she was already up. "Hi Turtle." She says to me. "Hey Ice...Hey um, can you try to get Star to eat breakfast?" I ask. "Yeah, of course." She says as Star walks downstairs and into the arms of Ice. "Morning Star-shine. Will you eat breakfast with me?" Ice asks with worry in her eyes. We were all worried about Star. She could faint again. Star nods and walks over to the kitchen. Has Ice done it? Will Star eat? I walk over to the kitchen with them to get Star's anxiety medication to give to Vic, along with medication for her depression. Star is slowly, but surely, eating a poptart. "I'm so proud of you babe." I hear Ice say as I walk out of the kitchen and towards Vic. "She's eating a poptart. I'm proud of her." Vic says as he takes the two bottles of medication for Star and puts them in his suitcase. "I'm proud too." I say as Mike comes from behind and pokes my stomach. "Eeek, Mike don't do that. It terrifies me." I say as I open the door and walk outside, carrying some of the suit cases. Vic and Mike help me and I look on my phone for the time. 5:25. "Jaime, Star, Ice, you guys should come outside." Mike says as I put my phone in my pocket. Star walks out nomming on a poptart. "Star-Wars, you're still eating a poptart. I'm proud." I say to her. Star-Wars was my nickname for her because she loves the movie series. Her name was also perfect for it. "This is a different package." She says as she's eating. "That's amazing Star!" I say as I hug her.

"Okay, we need rules because otherwise you two, Star and Ice, are going to cause all hell." Vic says. The girls laugh and Ice curls up in Star's lap. They are adorable. "Okay, if you make a mess, you have to clean it. You two can't sleep together in the same bunk but we all know you will anyways. If no one else is on the bus, make sure the door is locked. I don't want you two getting hurt. Star since you're almost 15, you can walk around the different stages but bring your phone. Ice you can go with her by yourselves but you should both have your phones.Don't go on a bus for a band that we don't know or we aren't close to.That should be it." Vic says. "Vic, there's a bunch of youtubers on tour too...can we go on that bus?" Ice asks. "Depends on who it is." Mike says. Star pulls out her phone to check and then says, "Bryan Stars, Johnnie Guilbert, Jordan Sweeto, SayWeCanFly but he has a different but with CatchingYourClouds, and that's it." I look at Vic and he looks at me. "That should be fine but be careful." I say. Ice smiles and Star puts her phone on the floor. "What are we going to do for my and Jaime's birthday?" Star asks. "We have a show that day so not much. Probably do something the day after." Mike says. "Okay." Star says as she gets up to get another poptart. "Star-shine I'm so proud that you're eating. Well, you're eating poptarts but you're still eating." Jaime says. Star smiles and goes into the back room with her laptop.

Star's POV

After a while of driving, we finally get to the first venue. I close my laptop and walk to the front of the bus. Vic was on his phone, Tony was on his laptop and Mike, Jaime, and Ice were playing Uno. "Add four red Mike. Uno!" Ice enthusiastically says. Mike growls and picks up four cards. Jaime puts down a red cancel and screams "Uno!" Ice shoots him a death glare and Mike puts down a +2 for Jaime. Jaime picks up two cards and Ice puts down a wild card. "I win!" She screams. "We suck at this game." Mike says and I laugh. "Hey Mike, at least you weren't playing against Star. She would've beat your ass." Tony says, looking up from his laptop. We all laugh and then Vic says "Okay, we can go now. Star and Ice don't get into trouble."
