Imagine: You were on your usual midday walk, when you'd heard the several tiny cries. And in a trash can not too far off the path, you found six matted kittens squirming about. Of course you couldn't, and wouldn't, leave them there so you grabbed a nearby crate and bunched up your sweater inside. You placed the kittens in it one by one and headed back to the house.
Later on, when Arthur came home, he heard quiet mewls carrying down the hallway and slowly opened the door to the bathroom. There he found you sat beside the tub, filled with only an inch or two of water, as you tried to clean up the kittens.
