Chapter Thirteen: Rewind, What If
"You said you were feeling a little tired. I bet a back rub would help." Diego said, pressing his hands down onto Cameron's shoulders.
In front of Cameron Leah, Mia, Manny, Nate and Ryan contorted, playing a game of Twister. The girls were giggling fiends. Ryan resigned. Nate jovial. Manny serious as he called out the moves in his tiny voice.
Cameron had never felt anything so good as Diego's hands on his body. But also so tense, anxious that Diego could see through him, could somehow tell that Cameron had discovered this new part of himself. That Cameron exuded a new scent, a scent that told others he was available and ready, but not for girls. Nope. No thank you. Not breasts. He wanted a hard chest pressed against his. Strong arms pinning him down. Wanted to feel sweat filled musk, no sweet sickly perfume for him.
Diego's hands kneaded him. Tips of strong fingers trailing through the hairs at the nape of his neck.
"I'm out." Ryan fell, and stalked into the kitchen. Nate gave him a weird look. The girls and Manny continued to play.
Cameron watched his roommate walk into the kitchen, considered following him.
"Does that feel good? Better?" Diego's breath in Cameron's ear, his chain cold against his neck.
Cameron shivered. And stayed.
----
"He's asleep. Do you want to come upstairs? We really didn't get a chance to hang out?"
Cameron glanced at Manny, already asleep on the couch. He couldn't stop looking at Diego, in his tank top, his basketball shorts.
Diego smirked, his lips full and red, touched his tongue to his teeth. Flexed his biceps as he put his hands behind his head. Cameron's eyes were locked on his arms, his heart pounded loud in his ears.
"Naw, he'll be scared if he wakes up without me."
Cameron thought about Ryan and Nate gaming upstairs. Considered.
"We can just talk down here. Is that ok?" Cameron asked.
"It's your sleepover, Chulo. Sure you don't want to go upstairs?" He raised a dark eyebrow.
Cameron sat back down on the patched recliner. Gray eyes locked on brown.
"I'm good."
"Your choice, Cameron."
Cameron shivered. And stayed.
----
Diego stood against the counter as Cameron washed the breakfast dishes. He was dressed for the day, in baggy jeans, a black tshirt stretched tight over his torso, silver chain against dark skin. Cameron tried to focus on the soap and sponge, but couldn't ignore Diego's proximity. He kept feeling a tingle move up and down his body, from the back of his knees to the base of his spine and up to his skull.
The Latino boy trailed his fingers in the soapy water and drew a line of water down Cameron's forearm. Cameron tried to keep his breath even, but found it almost impossible. Diego stood by his side, reaching his hands down into the sink, taking Cameron's hands in his and squeezing gently. Cameron's cock twitched and he had to grit his teeth to keep from moaning out loud, his mom and Nate behind him at the kitchen table, Ryan and the kids in the living room.
"Cameron," he whispered. "Want to hang out with me today? I have to drop Manny off at home, but then we can go for a drive or a movie or something." His voice was husky, but carefully quiet so they weren't overheard.
