chapter twenty-four <3

[a month later]

kairi's pov:

about two weeks ago, i got in contact with celise. we've decided to meet up and talk again and today's the day im supposed to see her again. im kinda nervous to see celise after what happened when we last seen each other.

celise's pov:

kairi and i talked two weeks ago and today we're supposed to be meeting up again. it's almost been two years since i've seen him in person and im kinda nervous to see him again.

kairi and i are supposed to be meeting up at the beach in three hours and i'm completely ready.. physically but not mentally. i've been overthinking for the past thirty minutes but i think i'll be fine.

– two hours later –

celise's pov:

it's been two hours and i'm finally left out the house twenty minutes ago. i stopped and got starbucks and then continued driving to the beach.

i'm super nervous but this is my one chance to see kairi again. he's supposed to be leaving tomorrow night to go back to jersey so hopefully we try and get a lot of things done together before he leaves.

– 5 hours later –

it's been five hours since kairi and i met up. him and i are currently going back to my place to have a movie night.

thirty minutes went by and we finally made it to my place. kairi made himself at home and hopped in the guest room shower.

as he was taking a shower, i got something comfortable to wear and took a shower in the my bathroom.

– an hour later –

kairi's pov:

celise and i both somehow took thirty minute showers and got out at the same time and i don't even know how that's possible but i guess it is?

i ordered panda express for celise and i as celise put on a horror movie and grabbed some snacks and drinks. i also got the bed nice and comfy for us so we can be comfortable as we watch the movie and eat.

i missed these type of nights with celise if i'm being honest and i'm glad we can have one last night like this together.

celise: KAI FOOD'S HERE

celise said as she walked into the room with all the snacks.

celise: get the door

kairi: alright

i went and got the food then came back upstairs to see celise sitting down ready to start the movie and eat.

i hopped in bed with celise and gave her food to her and she played the movie once she got comfortable.

– three hours later –

kairi's pov:

it's been three hours and celise is passed out. i grabbed all the snacks that weren't touched, took them downstairs, and put them away.

after i finished putting the snacks away, i threw all the garbage away and tucked celise into bed and turned the tv off.

i didn't want to make things weird between celise and i so instead of cuddling with her, i got comfortable in the guest room.

it took a while for me to fall asleep since i had a lot on my mind but eventually i fell asleep.
