Jungwon's POV

At the cafeteria

Eunji is my family friend and we were classmates when we're elementary. We're still friends, she's at our school because we need to prepare for our debate on regionals.

Eunji: Jungwon, about the girl earlier... It seems like she likes you.

Moving her eyebrows, more like teasing me.

Really? does she looks like she likes me? More like a lie.

Eunji : why are you silent, is it because you like her too???!!! OMG!!!!! YA—

She hit me with her hand but Heeseung Hyung approach me.

Heeseung: Hi!

"Hi, hyung." I smiled.

Hyung looked at Eunji and Eunji bowed with a smile.

Heeseung: can I talk to you privately, Jungwon?

He grabbed my arm like in a rush, while I'm so confused.

"What's wrong??!" I whispered.

He just ignored me, he let go of me and left.

"what's with Heeseung hyung, that's kinda different."

Eunji: I don't know, why are you asking me? Pfft. Your problem, not mine. btw, I'm hungry. *pouts*

I just scratched my head and we bought some food, I just kept on thinking of what Heeseung hyung is referring to.

We sat at a vacant table, and I can not help but just think.

Eunji: Yah! Are you going to eat or not?

I sensed up and take a bite of my cheeseburger.

Eunji: Don't think too much about earlier, unless you made something wrong, and no matter how hard I try, I can not help you because I'm not a student here and I don't usually see you, but because of this debate, I'm here with you to accompany you anytime.

She smiled and I smiled back.

Jungwon: it's my problem and I don't want you to be involved with it, so eat more.

She smiled even more.

Eunji: ok, but you're my friend so I'm always here if you need me.

I just nodded.

After eating we went to the library to study for the debate.

Eunji: I'm gonna look for the books that we need.

"Oh. ok"

While waiting for Eunji, I look at some books, and surprisingly, I saw some novels and this one looks like the thing that y/n is reading.

I haven't seen her since she saw us earlier, what is she doing now? She's thinking about her crush or reading again or maybe eating or hanging out with her friends, I don't know and why would I know, she's not with me. it's hard to know because I'm so busy and knowing the fact that she's liking someone, it's really hard for my part as the guy that likes her but I hope that she'll notice that I have this thing inside me that calls her and as I hope the same as her.

I checked and read some parts, nice taste... I could say. Eunji chatted to me that she's already finished looking for the books.

I sat in the chair facing Eunji.

Eunji: I didn't know that you're into reading novels.

"Oh, this... I only like this novel."

Eunji: why can't you find something that is just the same as that?

I chuckled, "it's hard to replace a masterpiece."

She nodded

Eunji: ok, I respect you.

"Shall we start now?"

Eunji: Jungwon before we start,

"Yeah..."

She took a deep breath.

Eunji: Jungwon... I-  I...
