EPILOGUE

I really don't believe in love. They say lucky people are only the one who gets the chance to be happy and stay in love. I also knew that I would never risk anything for it. That I would never fall for someone.

Not until... I saw this girl who was eating dirty ice cream. Her hair was just above his shoulder. It is wavy and in a mermaid curl as what samatha described her.

"Hoy! Naknam-potek! Anthony Peterson, Okay ka lang ba sir? Baka gusto mo ng kape para kabahan ka naman para bukas?" Imbis na mainis ay natawa nalang ako kay samantha. She was nagging about the quiz tomorrow.

"Do you see her?" I asked Sam, as she fixed her books and notes. "Malamang sir, hindi naman siguro ako bulag!" Dahil sa ka-ingayan niya, Nadinig na din ng dalawang ugok ang pinag uusapan namin.

After that, nilapitan namin siya. Her name is Lilirose. Her beauty is like a rose, that suits her name though. We became friends after that. My friends also notice how hard I fell for her. Since we're still in our first year my friends really told me to confess and not to make it later.

"You should confess dude! Torpe," Jacob said as he ate his nuggets. "Give me some time bro!" I said defensively. "Hayop! Second year na tayo, dude! Anong time ba iyang hinihingi mo? One billion time?" Humahalakhak si jacob sa sinabi ni miguel. I mean where's the lie though? What's making me scared of confessing? Damn! Love.

I didn't know how to confess my feelings for Lili, for years she never showed me things and gestures that will lead me to thinking if she likes me too. I never had the urge to talk about her because I was scared.

Until the time when Sam said it unconsciously. I know she's talkative like literally one. But I never thought that I would confess my feelings that way.

"Gusto kita, Lil" I was literally shitting on my pants. I saw how shocked she was. I was about to explain more when she decided to walk away and leave.

We notice how she avoided us for weeks. "Ikaw kasi sam! Ang daldal mo. Inunahan mo pa talaga si tony!" They both blame Sam for it. Sam also asked forgiveness right after. I know it is no one's fault but mine.

We are all serious talking about it as we enter the venue of the ball, hinanap agad ng mata ko kung asan si Lili. She was really avoiding us huh. Even before our eyes could meet, I looked away. I know she was avoiding us that's why I will not do things to discomfort her.

Bilib na sana ako sa tadhana, dahil biruin mo! Naging mag partner pa kami sa College Ball! I was so close to saying everything that was on my mind. Pero mapaglaro pala talaga ang pag ibig. Kahit isa ay wala akong nasabi. Halos sapakin ko ang sarili ko after ng ball.

"Bobo mo! Bakit hindi ka na-kapag salita!" Sigaw ni Miguel saken. Inabutan naman ako ng alak ni jacob.

It's been 8 years I must say. Susunduin ko sila Jacob at Miguel dahil pupunta kami sa binyag ng anak ni Sam. Baka kailangan na maka-kita ng pogi ng inaanak ko!

After the ball, we didn't see Lili anymore. Even sam. We tried reaching her to all her social media accounts but all of her accounts are deactivated.
