Ruv's POV

Knock....knock...knock...
Ruv wakes up from the loud clacking noise. He then looks at the clock and saw that it was 12am.

Who the hell is making this noise at 12 am?

Ruv got up and started to walk towards the noise. He finds himself in the church' s main hall. He sees Sarvente lecturing the children to stop throwing rocks at the windows.

Sarvente was wearing her pastel pink pjs, without her veil on. It was unusual seeing Sarvente like this. It made Ruv blush a little.

The children didn't listen and continued to throw rocks at the window while snickering to themselves. Sarvente turned around attempting to go outside to confront the children until she stumbled across Ruv.

"Oh Ruv! aha.. I'm really sorry about this..! I'll get this sorted out so you can go to sleep if you want."

"Do they do this often?"

"Yeah.. again I'm terribly sorry..."

Ruv walked past Sarvente and went straight towards the window.
"R-Ruv! What are you doing?" Sarvente stuttered while turning around to face Ruv worriedly.

"Hahaha who's this? Your BOYFRIEND? HAHAHA" the kids snickered from outside the window.

Ruv picked up the rocks from the floor and threw it towards the children like a baseball star.
"AHHHHH"
The children yelped and ran away as soon as the rocks hit the floor.

"Ruv! What did you just do??" Sarvente abruptly ran towards Ruv and looked at the window and was just in time to see the children running away while sobbing.

"I just gave them their stuff back" Ruv said in a chilling tone.

"You just made them even more irritated..." Sarvente groaned and looked at the floor.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure they never come back."

Sarvente sighed
"Well, thanks for the help I guess? Just don't throw rocks at them.. They are only children after all. I'm sure they didn't mean anything terrible."

"Children are the spawn of satan." Ruv addressed with a serious tone.

"Haha.. Anyways Ruv why are you wearing your everyday clothes in bed?" Sarvente chuckled.

"I don't own anything else."

"Oh yeah I forgot you came here empty handed. I mean if you'd like I could give you some clothes if you want?"

"It's fine." Ruv uttered coldly.

"Hehe alright. Do you sleep with that hat on?"

"Yes."
"Why?? isn't it uncomfortable?"
"No."

"Alright.. Well, I'm going to go to bed. If you need anything, I'll be in room 1. Again I'm really sorry for all the trouble...Goodnight Ruv!" Sarvente muttered in a sad tone. Perhaps she was upset about disturbing her new candidate like this.

"Goodnight Sarv."

Sarvente smiled at Ruv and Sarvente rushed off to the hallway.
Ruv stood there and watched as Sarvente entered her room. She looked like she was about to cry.

Pesky kids.

Ruv walked towards the broken window for closer inspection and he noticed black liquid on the grass the children were standing on.

Weird.

Ruv quickly walked away not thinking much about it and went to his room.
Ruv opened the door to his room, slowly laid on his new bed and looked at the ceiling blankly.

Boyfriend huh..?

The next day
Ruv slowly opened his eyes to feel the bright ray of sunshine flashed onto his face from the window.

So... bright.

Ruv got up from his bed still half asleep, stormed across to the window and closed the blinds aggressively.
Ruv looked around his room in a blur still processing the fact he wasn't sleeping on the dirty streets anymore.

I've got to thank Sarv for that. Maybe I was too harsh on her. I should thank her at least. I mean I am living in this place rent free. And it isn't that bad of a place either.

Ruv stepped out of his room and walked towards Sarv's room. Room 1.
Ruv strolled across the hallway of doors. Coming across doors, upon doors, and upon another set of DOORS. Until he finally stumbled across room 1.
Ruv just stared at the door not knowing wether or not he should enter the room. Ruv knocked on the door. No response. Ruv knocked on the door again but louder. Still no response.

Is she still asleep?

Ruv just stood in front of the door, staring at the wooden door.

Oh whatever. I'll just enter the room.

Ruv abruptly opened the door and swung it across the room.
He looked around to see Sarv wasn't inside the room. The room was wide but it was pretty messy.

There were clothes scattered all around her room and the bedsheets were all messed up. The only clean thing about her room was the shrine on the corner of her table.

Ruv entered the room trying not to step on any of the piles of clothing on the floor and looked around bluntly. No Sarv spotted. Ruv's attention was brought to the open book in the middle of the table. There was a ray of sunshine shining on that open book. The book was really thick, full of pages.

Ruv walked closer to the table and picked up the book. The book had a hard brown cover wrapped around its contents and the cover said "Diary"

Diary..?

Ruv opened the book to the first page.
