Sarvente's POV

"I'M GOING TO GO HELP SKY COOK" I bolted out of the room leaving Ruv sitting there on the bed processing what he just tried to do.

"Hey, do you need any help?" I peeked over Sky's shoulder. Sky was grabbing some ingredients from her fridge and when she heard my voice, she looked back at me seeming surprised to see me back so early.

"Yeah, help would be nice. You can cut the onions and carrots over there." Sky closed the fridge and handed me a carrot and an onion.  She pointed at the counter, where a neatly placed cutting board was lying at.

I walked over to the cutting board, placing the ingredients on top of the cutting board. I looked around and found the knife, its metallic material glistening underneath the kitchen light. I snatched the knife and carefully placed my hand on the base of the carrot. I then lifted up the knife and started to slice the carrot into perfectly shaped pieces, with an inhuman speed. After a few seconds, I realized that Sky has been staring at me the entire time, shocked on how fast I could cut. I forgot that I wasn't at home now, and I couldn't use my power like this otherwise she could find out I wasn't actually human.

"Soo.. are you guys a couple now?" Sky smirked as she peeled the skin of the potato, not questioning my godly speed in cutting. She was leaning against the counter smugly and was staring directly at me, seeming very confident in her words.

"Heavens, NO! Sky, we weren't kissing!! YOU JUST WALKED IN AT A VERY WEIRD TIME!" I  defended myself, accidentally raising my voice. Now I looked even more suspicious than before.

Sky chuckled at my flustered words, seeming like she didn't believe a word I was saying.

"Nah, that's cap. I mean you're literally shouting in all caps. Okay If you guys weren't kissing, why on earth would he be leaning towards your lips like that?"

"I don't know...?" I looked down at the carrots and tried to focus on cutting the carrot and not the recurring face of Ruv. I felt my face burn even more as I recollected what happened a few seconds ago.

Then, from the corner of my eye, I saw the potato peeler slipping against her palms; falling onto the kitchen floor. I heard the loud clank of the peeler and stopped cutting. I looked over at Sky in confusion only to meet her face full of regret.

"Oh. Now I get it! Oh god, Oh man, I feel guilty." Sky murmured, as her hands froze in midair. Suddenly, she banged her fists against the counter along with the potato, causing the whole counter to recoil.

"DAMN IT!! IF ONLY I HAD BARGED INTO YOUR ROOM A FEW SECONDS LATER!! THEN MY SHIP COULD'VE BEEN CANON AAAAH SHIT, SHIT, SHIT!!!" She cried out as she shook the counter rapidly seeming like she was losing her mind.

I picked up the potato peeler from the floor and looked up at her, not understanding what she was blabbering about.
"Ship? What??"

She suddenly grabbed my shoulders and started to shake me back and forth.
"Girl, what the hell are you doing cutting carrots with me!! You have a making out session to attend to!!" She grabbed the kitchen knife out of my hand and slapped it back into the knife holder. I slowly placed the potato peeler onto the counter until she startled me by grabbing my arm all of a sudden, trying to pull me away, but I resisted.

"You're completely misunderstanding all of this. He was probably just leaning in to get the dirt out of my Veil or something. I mean he never said he wanted to kiss me so you don't have any proof that he was trying to kiss me!"
