JORDANNA RUBBED HER eyes as she made her way into Klaus' study. Five days of pure shit, she was tired and she had a feeling. A feeling that she knew was bad—you know it was the feeling you couldn't describe but you could feel? It was like a pit in the bottom of her stomach, a bottomless pit that made her feel sick to her stomach just thinking about it.

Over the course of those five days she had tried to push it away. She had tried to ignore that nagging feeling, she tried to push it to the back of her head—but it stayed, haunting her. Five days she spent in Mystic Falls, five days.

Five days comforting Caroline, sitting with Liz in the Forbes house, slowly watching the light, that bright, shining, light leave Liz Forbes' eyes.

As much as she wanted to stay longer she couldn't. She stayed with Caroline after everyone had left the church—the pair just sat by the casket in pure silence. The two then took a walk around the Town Square and then when she had finally dropped the Forbes vampire back off at home, Caroline turned it off.

But she didn't find out about that until this morning, the second she had left Caroline's house she had began her journey back to New Orleans. She had to go back because of that feeling.

Besides she had a plan to get Caroline's humanity back on. After the baby was born she'd show up on her college dorm door-step and shove the kid in her arms.

      Boom.

      Job done, problem solved.
