Caden gets into the drivers seat of his truck and I get into the passengers seat. He begins to back out of the driveway when I say "You need to pick up Chelsea." He keeps his eyes on the road and nods his head. I smirk and watch as we begin to turn on to Chelsea's street.
We pull into my best friends driveway, Chelsea. She walks out of her house with blue jeans and a pink sweatshirt on. She smiles at me and I smile back and tell her to get into the back of the truck. She nods her head and climbs in. "Hello" she says.
"Hey" Caden and I say in unison.
She smiles and Caden pulls out of her driveway driving up the street.
"So Mackenzie are you excited for the dance on Friday night?" Chelsea asks.
I smile and say "It's only Tuesday, I'm not worried about it right at this moment."
Chelsea smiles and Caden turns into the schools parking lot. Chelsea and I get out of the truck and walk inside the school leaving Caden still out in the parking lot. We separate and head to our lockers. The bell rings and I head to my first class.
I walk back to the parking lot waiting on Caden to come out of the school. I lean on the truck and stare down for a couple minutes. I then hear a deep masculine voice, and I looks up.
"Great."

Btw my schedule for this book will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. But also sometimes the weekends. ;)
