I look at the face now carrying me, Dylan. "What's going on?" I whisper. "We need to get out of the city." He says back running to Caden's car already Caden and Chelsea in the front. I look back at the school it is now on fire. Dylan puts me in and then himself in the back seat of the truck. I sigh and sit beside him resting my head on his shoulder scared. Caden backs out of the parking lot. He then stops and I hear a thud. I look back and 5-6 people from our school are in the back of the truck. I look at them and see another body jump into the back, Sam.
We begin to drive up the road. "what's happening?" I ask. Chelsea stares at Caden waiting for a response but he keeps his eyes on the road. I look at Dylan and he shrugs his shoulders. Caden then turns the radio on loud. A lady starts speaking and says "Everyone needs to get out of the city now. The zombies will eat you. The apocalypse is happening." Caden then turns the radio off and turns on to our street of our house. He parks in the driveway and leaves the truck running. He turns back to me and says "Dylan and I just need to get supplies we will be right back." I nod and watch them go inside.
