Baby steps, love."Hey, love. Teach me how to skate!"
"Giselle, I don't think that's a good idea.."
"Oh come on, Wyatt. Teach me."
Giselle took Wyatt's hand and with Wyatt's support, he led them to the rink. Before fully entering in, Wyatt faced the short girl.
"Are you sure about this, Gi?"
She nodded. "Please, Wyatt. I really wanna learn."
Giselle glanced at her brunette friend skating enthusiastically in the rink, before looking back at her boyfriend. She threw him a pleading look.
"Please, Wyatt. I want you to teach me, I swear that I'm a fast learner! I promise you that I'll be careful, and if I fall.. I won't cry."
"Okay." Wyatt answered. He chuckled seeing how eager his girlfriend was. He kept his hands on her waist as they walked their way into the rink.
-
Wyatt lead the way, with his fingers laced around Giselle's.
"There you go, Gi!"
"Woohoo! Giselle!"
Giselle smiled as Wyatt and Oliver cheered for her. They both raised their fists in the air, watching the girl skate wonderfully.
Giselle started to wobble a bit, which didn't go unnoticed by Wyatt.
"Uh, Wyatt. I think she-" Before Oliver can even finish what he was saying, Wyatt already made his way towards the said girl.
-
Giselle couldn't help herself as she slid uncontrollably on the ice.
"No, no, no. Oh fuck-" she muttered, already accepting the fact that she's going to bump into someone, anytime soon.
Not until, "Woah, woah. Easy there, baby." Wyatt slid in, easily catching his girl in his broad arms. His arms wrapped tightly in her waist.
"Oh thank God, Wyatt! You're my hero."
Wyatt rolled his eyes at his girlfriend's crazy antics. While Giselle couldn't contain the smile that was forming in her lips, looking at the benevolent young man holding her.
Well, that was before. Giselle widened her eyes as she saw another rookie skater, staggering towards them.
"Wyatt, watch out!" Before Wyatt could even find out what was going on, his back hit the ice. Hard.
"Fuck." he groaned.
He swallowed harshly, before rolling onto his side with immense amount of pain.
He heard a whimper, and there he was greeted by the sight of his girlfriend's body.
"Gi. Oh shit, Gi!" Wyatt quickly stood up, wobbling slightly, as a vast amount of pain shot up on his back. Though the pain was soon forgotten, he kneeled down beside his girl.
At this point, Wyatt was petrified. Gaze fixed on his lover.
"Wyatt.." Giselle's voice wavered.
Wyatt, finally snapping out of his thoughts, looked at the warm brown eyes.
"Hey, hey. Calm down, baby. Shh. Everything's going to be fine, we're gonna get you some help. Just don't move too much, alright?" Giselle's response was only a nod, letting out a small whimper of pain.

Three hours later
Hospital Room
"Hey baby."
Giselle looked up from her book as Wyatt entered the room.
"I saw your parents in the lobby, signing your discharge papers." He said as he walked and sat on the chair beside his girlfriend's bed.
"I'm sor-" Wyatt was interrupted by a kiss on his cheeks.
"I know you feel bad for everything that happened earlier," Giselle stated. "You think you're responsible for this, don't you?" Ding ding ding. Giselle got Wyatt for good.
"Well, it is indeed my fault." Wyatt frowned.
"Wyatt!"
"What? It was my fault, plus I never agreed to teach you ice skating."
Giselle gave him a reproachful look and held his hands.
"Wyatt, I was the one who suggested it. And although this was the ending that I got, I had tons of fun. I swear! Wyatt, believe me when I say that this isn't your fault-"
"But-"
"I repeat, this isn't your fault."
For a second, Wyatt gave Giselle a challenging stare (in which Giselle made sure to return with equal intensity) before he rolled his eyes and gave in.
"Okay, this wasn't my fault." He repeated, robotically. Giselle smiles, leans back, and obviously satisfied.
"C'mon, let's get you out of here. You big baby." Instead of using the wheelchair, Wyatt offered his back and Giselle carefully placed herself on it.
Oh don't you worry, my love. I will be here to guide you until you get through it.
