Chapter 2 - Approaching Darkness

In the middle of the night, Wei is sleeping so tight, the dragon star shines by his window. The curtains are blown by the air coming inside Wei's room. Light  rays from the dragon star shines directly to Wei. Wei floated while sleeping, he never knew what is currently happening. Red aura shines around Wei's body and the mark of the dragon is marked on his forehead. While the Mark of the Dragon shines so bright, sorrowful souls began to gather around Wei. Souls are screaming and begging Wei to end their suffering so they could rest in peace. The Spirit of the Dragon suddenly appeared and entered Wei's dream.

In the dream world, Wei confronts the Spirit of the Dragon. Wei I have chosen you to the bearer of the dragon mark and i will be your guide to your upcoming quest, a quest that would restore balance to this world. Wei can't believe what he sees, You are the Dragon Spirit? But why me? why have you chosen me to be one of the chosen? Wei you are a pure hearted boy, choosing you was not a mistake, it's your destiny to lead the people back to the balance of life. The dragon moved closer to Wei. I'm not strong, I'm not a warrior like Captain Albert. how can i make things possible to restore such balance? Wei the world is already in chaos, many people want power over others, they have no respect of each other, nations are always at war, arguing most of everything. You have the power of understanding the heart of others. You have the ability to hear the cries of the dead. Wei the power of the dragon is limitless if you only believe in me. Wei looked upon his hands and closed them. Wei you have a strong will, you can win everything if you believe you could. I will be at your side always Wei. Call me and i will be there always for you. The dragon is disappearing from Wei's dream. Wait dragon! I have many questions for you, don't go yet!. Wei ran and he tries to chase the dragon. You will know the answers to your questions in time. All i want for now is to be strong, be a warrior and i will guide you. While running , Wei fell down. Wait! dragon! don't go yet! Call me Dragon ShenLong. ShenLong disappeared from Wei's dream. Feng and Yue rushed to the room of Wei as they heard Wei screaming. Dragon! Wait for me! ShenLong! as they opened Wei's room Feng wakes Wei up. Wei! WEi! wake up! you are dreaming! wake up! Feng slapped Wei. Wei wokes up. Wei is sweating like he had taken a bath he is shaking in fear and hugged his mother. Ma! I had a dream! a dragon appeared in my dream, his name is ShenLong!. Yue brushed the long hair of Wei using her hands. Mama Yue is here now. don't be afraid anymore. Sssssssshhhhhhhhh. Feng stands up and closed the windows, he noticed that the Dragon star really shines so bright. Feng speaks to himself, I think me being a coward makes my son's destiny miserable. Suddenly tears from his eyes and Feng closed the windows.  Yue get some rest now, we have so much to do tomorrow. I'll be watching over Wei, when he's asleep i will follow to our room. Yue stands up and lay down Wei to bed. Wei, sleep now. Yue put the blanket on Wei. Before Yue left she kissed Wei to the forehead. I Love You my son. Wei replied I Love you too ma!. Then Wei closed his eyes, and Yue went out of the room and goes to their room. Feng closed the door of Wei's room and sat on the chair. Watching Wei sleeping Feng said. My son and my treasure. You are growing up so fast and your destiny is about to be unfold. Wei remember us no matter what happen, we will always be your parents, and your protector. Feng kissed his son to the forehead and goes out of the room. While closing the door Feng is still looking at his son. Feng sighed and walked to their room. Feng entered the room and lay down beside Yue in their bed.

Captain Albert arrived at the Imperial capital, a messenger from the palace came and talked to Albert. The messenger vowed to Albert. Captain Albert you are immediately summoned by our Emperor. Albert replied. OK you can go now, i will go straight to the Imperial Hall. The messenger then goes back to the palace. Men return to your families and get some rest , i will go report to our emperor. The soldiers turned around and went to their homes. While walking by the palace entrance with the moon so bright and the cold wind blows, Albert saw a academy apprentice. Good evening Captain Albert. It's a cold night tonight. Albert asked the apprentice, May i ask you a favor? Anything you ask Captain what is it? Can you look for some information in the library tower about the chosen zodiac warriors? I will gladly reward you for the information you will get for me. The apprentice got a little confused. Huh? about the chosen stars? Albert steps forward and holds the shoulder of the apprentice. Yes my lady. If my suspicions were right, it will not be long before the chosen 12 stars of zodiac will come to restore the balance. The lady nods and agreed. Yes Captain i will look for the information you want. Albert walked. Oh i almost forgot don't let anyone know about what i want to know. The lady nods. OK Captain as you wish. The lady went to down the stairs and Albert goes inside the palace.
